Drum sustains
I don't think this idea has been posted here before, but please let me know if it has. I would like to see the ability to have sustained drum notes, such as in guitar hero world tour. These are used when there is a roll on a cymbal or another drum so you don't have to hit each note exactly, only play a steady roll on the drum. There usually used at the end of songs and chords can even be used too, where you would alternate between hitting two drums. Those of you that have played GH world tour should know what I'm talking about.

basically, yes. only it looks like a sustained note, like on guitar.
Re: Drum sustains
That actually would be kind of cool for an option, assuming fretters would use it. It'd be nice to do some diddles with that.

Re: Drum sustains
Is there any way to determine how fast you actually must hit on those in GH:WT?
would feel a bit weird if it was possible to hit 3 times when the audio clearly indicates more than ten times that. Maybe a lane with lines would be cool, I've never played GH:WT. :P

It's not like I dislike sleeping, I really do like it to be honest. It's the whole wake up/go to sleep business I don't like.

I think it has to do with the bpm of the song, and maybe the difficulty, but i'm not sure.

thanks, I really hope they implement it some time.
Re: Drum sustains
Perhaps for better visibility and likelihood of implementation, someone could suggest it to the FoFiX developers on their Google Code page?

Re: Drum sustains
This sounds like a good way to chart washes
There would have to be some sort of beat marker for it, most custom drum charts already have small tails behind every note

Yeah, definitely. If EOF added support for it than it would be pretty easy to do.

Re: Drum sustains
I'm sure that GH:WT doesn't care how fast you're hitting the sustain drum notes. Just as-long as you keep doing it.
If this was made I'd totally use it. :)

I would too. and yeah i'm pretty sure that as long as you consistently hit the drum at a somewhat fast speed it works.
