A trick I use in my necks, is simply trim the two sides down a few pixels. That way, instead of having it simply "cut off", the beat (horizontal) lines stick out just a little.
Goodbye everyone. It's been fun. I spent many many hours here on these boards and playing/contributing to FoF. Today I uninstalled my game and deleted all my files. I just don't have the time or interest anymore. I won't be coming back here anymore. I might show up in the IRC from time to time to chat. I regret nothing.
So long, farewell.

what would really be awesome would be to put up a picture of a stage (that looks GOOD) from a distance, but somehow get it to be larger then the screen so when it shakes it just moves the view to the left or right and you can see more of the area around the stage. and for the stage thing, if it were possible, maybe change those colored lights in the new one to strobe lights (but not blinking constantly over and over again) and in the stage.

I think I may take a break and see what new versions and RF mods come out in the next few months before converting any more background packs.
I'm finding that I"ve been spending all my free time playing FOF/GZ and its taking away from my Wii and XB360.
Plus I'm trying to find 30+ minutes a day for learning to play the real guitar.
Add this into a full work day, taking care of 5 year old twins, enjoying summer outside and having a life, I should really take a break from this for a while.
Although I almost love 'building things' as much as I like playing games. So, who knows... maybe I'll put stuff together quicker than I am planning.

eh... thats what I'm aiming for in the mod.
I'd rather have them a little higher actually,
It would be nice to have a small white portion
at the bottom to lift the note a little more.
Can anyone do this?

Just d/l the stupid toolbar for IE it tells you to.
I've scanned the download, and has "stuff" in it
And I use Firefox
Anyway I have the file now and just a suggestion:
don't put in the noob notes or stuff thats supposed to be in all the other themes in each of the folders. waste of download time.
Thanks anyway

Suggestion heard, but I wouldnt change a thing.
I duplicated everything because I don't want n00bs asking... "Why don't the nooob notes show with xxxx background" or questions like that.
I want to make the install as painless as possible for everyone. noobs and experts alike. I don't like making assumptions about people and their computer skills.
Besides. All the files need to be in all the folders anyway eventually. Its easier just to unzip the stuff and be done with it.
I dont know why you'd say a 15mb file is such a waste of downloading time. The only thing I can think of is that you might be on dial-up, which in that case - I wouldn't change the file structure and have problems, just to accomodate the percentage of people on dial up.
