However, the speed is hardcoded, but a way around that since you only have so many frames, is double each frame either 2-3 times, which effectively will play it slower. Same goal. Or, if's it's not used for RB yet, a condition could be put into place to use a separate speed if the theme is RB/RB2. That might be better.

Yeah, what I was saying about the speed is that i my personal opinion the GH3 animated hitflames are slow, and only having the 5 frames (with the other 8 just black) might look good as-is without any code modification. The other thing, as well, I don't know how (if?) the animated hitflames are scaled...

alright, i've finished bass groove... just waiting for him to commit it to svn...
I've also centered all the multiplier images correctly as they are in rock band.

images for those who don't use SVN for what ever reason:

P.S. the numbers 10x and 12x might look a little weird, but i couldn't actually find a rockband video/screenshot that showed anything past 6x for bass so i kinda had to guess what the numbers would look like and i'm not the greatest at designing font.
P.S.S. Thanks to KrazzyKlown who provided me with the video that showed the 10x and 12x multipliers. updated the bassgroovemult with new numbers.

death_au wrote:I was going to reply and say that you can only use 2 frames for the hitflames, but then remembered the hitflamesanimation.png. I believe it is one himage, divided into 13 horizontally, with each section being a frame... I've thought that the animation is too slow, but if you just used the first 5 sections, and then just made the rest of it black, that might actually work.
I'm working atm, but it's lunch break.... *goes to fiddle with images*
Edit: I only have an older version of FoFiX here, and I can't seem to get it to work. Oh well, another time perhaps.

There is even a hitglowanimation.png . And as quoted from godviollator: "Hello man,i have a new hitglow for RB2 Theme:". I think that you should try that one too.

that cutout in your over drive bar isn't scaled correctly... it extends a little past where it should be cut out...

[/edit] I'll do ya one better anyways...

Should give a better effect.

thats why I said its not going to work untill the coders get the scaling for the OD bar correct. On mine, that circle fits perfect. So until they fix the scaling were not going to change the OD bar like that.

Many of these scoring screen reports would go away if you guys would post updates more often at the top of the thread. You're already up at rev 40-something and only rev 11 is posted.....

LOL!!!! :glare:

Four pages ago (on this thread) someone complain about that, and four pages before that one another dude complained about that also...(guess what?)...four pages before the last mentioned, another fellow complained about that.

OK, I guess we have to ask K.I.D to EDIT the first post so that the SVN REPOSITORY (that it is already there), FOR UPDATING THE THEME THROUGH SVN, becomes IN MAJOR ULTRA MEGA HIPPER CAPITAL LETTERS WITH BIG SIGNS AND NEONS so no one else will miss it.

This theme is BEING updated THROUGH SVN!!!!

SIGH!

I'm going to bed now.

P.S - PLEASE!! DO NOT ASK HOW SVN IS SUPPOSED TO WORK...PLEASE, SEARCH (using the "search this topic" function) FOR IT.

Nothing for now...
