ok, I deleted my fretsonfire.ini file, but now when I try to play the game, it says permission denied. Can you fix this?

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "MainMenu.pyo", line 99, in harness
File "MainMenu.pyo", line 131, in newSinglePlayerGame
File "GameEngine.pyo", line 260, in startServer
File "Server.pyo", line 33, in
File "Network.pyo", line 178, in
File "asyncore.pyo", line 304, in bind
File "<string>", line 1, in bind
error: (10013, 'Permission denied')

Why is my game so **** up?

It might be your firewall not giving FOF permission to connect to the internet.

it worked, ya, it was the firewall. Is there any way to make it allow FoF, so I dont get hackers?

Read your firewall's manual or poke around. Or at least tell us what firewall you're using, and somebody _might_ know.

Or, just turn the firewall off, switch off score uploading, then turn it back on again.
Its just like life. Quite interesting in parts, but no substitute for the real thing.

NOTE

This error can ALSO be caused by another application running on port 12345. When starting a SinglePlayer game, FoF tries to acquire this port and therefore fails (I had FileZilla running on it)!!

Make sure, no other application is using PORT 12345.
