Split screen multiplayer "RF-Mod-Mod"
step by step installation instructions: make a backup of your original fretsonfire.exe and library.zip, then put the fretsonfire.exe and library.zip that came with the mod in the fretsonfire folder and the fretsonfire\data folder respectively, then run the game and set up your controls. if you didn't install it like that, then it probably won't work.

The next version of RF-Mod is going to incorporate this mod, and a host of other bells and whistles besides. You may have better luck with that when it is released

i dont think the game would work too well at 2560x1024 in windowed mode ... i dont think it even has that resolution option

I haven't taken a look at this mod yet (don't have the time now), but from what I've read in this thread, it sounds like it doesn't support multiple keyboards being able to use the same keys.
I'm using Linux and multiple keyboards is possible through evdev; you could tell X to take input only from a specific keyboard and your applications could take the input from others. (Take a look in /dev/input/*)
It'd be great if this mod supported that. I'm getting some GH2 songs right now.

Are you using version 0.5? I think this problem was fixed in that. I've updated the link in the first post to point to the most recent version.
