Big Concert In My Hometown

Postby jiiiiimmmy » Tue Oct 21, 2008 7:58 pm

Avenged Sevenfold, Shinedown, Buckcherry, & Saving Able are coming to my hometown of augusta, GA in a month and a half!
I'm really excited!! Especially since the tickets are going to be $25!! Or so I'm told....
Has anyone seen any of these bands live or seen this tour yet?
Just wondering to see if its worth it.

I will probably go anyway since no one ever comes to augusta......they always go to atlanta. v.v

Well, none of them are my favorite band, but in my opinion they are pretty awesome.

Too bad the place the show will be at is really small.... If they let anyone on the floor it is going to be insanely claustrophobic!

Uh uh RED. *BOOOOOOM*

No really. I like The Raconteurs.. But maybe I haven't listened to enough White Stripes.

But Broken Boy Soldiers is one of the best albums made. Next to OK Computer :)

Broken Boy Soldiers is one of my favorite albums of all time, but all in all I just really like Jack White.
So anything he does his probably going to be a favorite of mine.
Though I do believe that Jack and Meg just work well together. I have all of their albums and it's just an amazing piece of artwork, IMO.

Some White Stripes bores me a little, I prefer the drummer from the Raconteurs

Well, he is definitely a more experienced drummer.
Meg is good though. She can keep a good steady beat (maybe not perfect, but steady), and if anyone else was drumming for the white stripes then i probably wouldn't like them as much.
It would be too different.

Jacks a drummer too though!
Have you guys heard the new james bond theme song "Another Way To Die"!? Jack White did the drumming for that song and I would have to say he did an awesome job too!
