I'm new to this kind of game, and I'm now playing in easy level  , but I have some problem when there's this kind of sequence:

I can do all Ziggy Stardust but this sequence. There's some trick?? I try to press very fast, but I can't hit all of them :(

well it depends
1. can your keyboard take that sort of 2 button chord 5 note smashing?
2.maybe your doing it too fast!
WTF why is that sort of sequence doing in an EASY! song?

I tend to miss this kind of thing ocasionally.

Button smashing is really hard to do, as the game doesn't accept "slight errors" at all. It bores me, too, when there're long sequences like this.

I don't know this music, but sometimes it's easier to go "by ear", other then by the streams. Maybe you can hit them by doing that (but of course, make sure the track is correctly synch'ed).

If you're using a keyboard, make sure to use both the main strum key, and the alternate strum key. If you don't have a high end keyboard, it could very well be dropping some repeated inputs.

I nailed the exact same sequence after 500 tries and 5 strained wrists. That is hard.

I now got an GH-controller (yay).

But I got the same problem :D
Dunno what to do, I cant manage to play songs with many notes in a row... - I feel like pressing right but I miss notes in the game - it even is easier with the keyboard >_>
Do I perhaps have to calibrate the guitar somehow?

I have problems with this too. I don't think it's really the fault of the controller. I just played this exact song (Ziggy Stardust on Easy) and got 98% . I think I only missed one of those sequences. I find it helps if you can count out the rhythm in you head (For those I count in my head 1-2-3-4-5 as I play). Playing by ear helps a lot too, since it's very hard to react fast enough just by watching. Of course, the counting thing doesn't work so well on the longer sequences, where you can't see right away how high you need to count...All I can say is practice.

Are there actually people using "Doublepick" efficiently?
I've run across a few songs like the Sonic Greenhill Zone track or the MGS 2 Theme that have so insanely fast taps/switches that I can't keep up with the single pick but I find it near impossible to correctly keep a rythm using alternating mainpick/altpick (although feelingwise they should be fast enough to keep the pace).

Any hints on that from someone who manages that? Training tips, perhaps a songname or two where I can train this kind of technique?

double picking is in fact really hard...i think for beginners its more efficiently to train at first precision of your hits...for fast propotional notations is double picking very bad (no tone switching)...for antiproportional notations is double picking usefull, but you have to play another style: press for every note the button in the left hand at the same time as the right one...

Hah, I do the same thing as above. When you can count out the number of them, you can put it to the rhythm better.
