this one is for all you retards out there. i cant believe it has come down to this but im SICK of retards unable to use the search feature. i think this should have a sticky to reduce the retard level in this community. here i go
as you can see, the search button is located on the top right corner of the screen. for those who cant see it, ive circled it many times. now why not try finding the search button on your screen? click on it (not the picture, the real button) and a screen like this will appear.
as you can see, i put numbers on there to teach you more about each numbered feature. look below at the corresponding number to learn about that feature.
1) Keywords: this is what you want to search for. if you search is too broad then try using "and" in between each word in that box (EX: "guitar and hero and controller" instead of "guitar hero controller"
2) Type of Search: this is where you either pick to search someone's name or search posts and topic titles.
3) Forums: this is where you will pick which forum to search in. you will usually use the "all open forums" selection
4) Search in: this is where you will choose to search in either topic titles, posts, or both
5) Search From: this is where you will choose the time period in which to search. if you cannot find something, try setting this to "the beginning"
i hope that you have learned something from this tutorial. and PLEASE, if you ever see anyone posting a retarded question, a nub question, one that has been asked and answered many times, PLEASE give them a hyper link to this tutorial as they will probably need it.

Goodbye everyone. It's been fun. I spent many many hours here on these boards and playing/contributing to FoF. Today I uninstalled my game and deleted all my files. I just don't have the time or interest anymore. I won't be coming back here anymore. I might show up in the IRC from time to time to chat. I regret nothing.
So long, farewell.
