it wont change it's coming out in like 2 weeks

It does look different in subtle ways, mostly in the notes and the score multiplier. I figured that in a Rock Band 2 theme those would be priority things to change

https://www.fretsonfire.org/cgi-bin....y263934 is the link to the full installer for Alarian (also made by Ugo and copied from his sig).
Erase the original Frets On Fire (do keep your songs though) and download and run the installer.
Alarian should run fine for you then.
Then download and install this theme.
Trust me...I spent a buch of times playing with mods arund here and this is the best looking one in my opinion.

JcFerggy wrote:Hey, I don't know if your interested, but I made a set of icons to go with the Rock Band side bar. I have the original dirty ones that were used in Rock Band, then I have a set that I cleaned up myself. I also made the mic one in case you ever plan to use it. I originally posted these in Ds~ Rock Band V3 topic, but I don't think anyone used them

Amazing job ugo247548. I just love this theme! Pretty much perfect, keep it on!

Just one thing: You should create a new practice background.

That's all for now. Cheers :D

Those look great.

The texture/color/font/size fits perfectly.

Only the angle is slightly different.

You got the RB2 Main Menu screens so you can see how the actual main menu text is positioned.

But still great job.

I have a suggestion on how to get the glow of the words to work for when it's selected like this

Image

all you'd have to do is keep that as the background, make the main text, then use the same picture but only the tiger and the top, no background, as the versiontag.png. What will happen is the tiger and all the other stuff will render on top of the text so it will work like rockband, you'll just have to make sure you have versiontag turned on.

evil-doer, sorry. I guess my eyes screwed with me.

Excellent work. Can't wait to test it.

//Instructions: It's just a new editor.png, just replace the old one which is located in the theme's folder.

Cheers :)

i've also made the main menu. i think you should keep the aspect ratio of the main image because otherwise it looks ugly... (my opinion)

here is how i made it:

i would, but the problem is that the screens are not ingame. I know that its possible to do a graphic menu (like RB1 Them) but i guess that the size of the buttons have to be resized in the game code?!
