We could always set it so if there are more than 2 players it'd change the aspect ratio so it's more of a wide screen, I think that's possible. That would solve the cramming. Even if you do have a large screen it's still going to cram, just be larger in size and if you have a wide screen it's still going to look crammed but with fatter boards and everything and be distorted even more until you change the screen resolution to a wide one.
There's another solution, if you're going to have more than 3 players set your resolution to a wide screen resolution instead of the average 800x600. It's fit better on a 16:9 than a 4:1 because you have more room to divide horizontally.

I use GamePad Companion, and that is the best one out there. Why don't you like it? Anyway there is one made by tattieboggle here http://tattiebogle.net/index.p....xDriver
Also, could someone be kind enough to port the new hotfix to Mac? I wanna run it, but I am just learning how to compile, and am running in to problems when I am trying to open folders in terminal. Thanks in advance.

You could put the third player ABOVE the other two, with a lower POV.
Switchfoot - Meant to Live (now with drums)
Delirious? - Investigate (Live)
Disco Skulls FTW!

Idea for 3 players (I think it has already been said in the original Alarian topic, but forgot by who):
Don't do like RB/GH with 3 players side by side, but divide the screen into four sections, and put the 3 players in 3 of them, then use the 4th one for rock meters/scores etc...
Little show up under paint.
First option:

Second option A:

Second option B:

We also can keep the 2nd but place the rock meters/scores at the same place as the 1st, and keep the 4th space for others things.

With 4 players, you'd already have to use the 1st option. I'd say be consistent and use the 1st option for all of the windows.
Also, the fretboards seem to be small enough to allow for 4 player split screen, using the standard 4 quadrant split view.
I'm looking at the screenshots for Rock Band/GH:WT, and it seems that the fretboards are already small enough to accomodate a third one between the ones for 2 players.
In other words, you don't need to make the boards any smaller, but you might make them a bit larger for 1/2 player modes.
PM me for my Wii or DS Friend Codes.

Since "DragonFail" "sucks" so much, I won't post anything related or about them any longer.

Is 2.911 the latest? If it is, here's the Mac version of the latest hotfix:
