Hero is going quite well without MFH. It's going to have some... features... I'm not allowed to tell you any more than that :p . Besides, MFH deserves a break.

Yes, it is going great. and Guys, MFH probably has a job and has a life so leave him alone. It's not his responsibility to do every single Mod for you guys.

Yeah. It'a going great.
He does, and he does require a break.
He doesn't work on this to make money, it's just a little hobby of his, I'd sya.

Thanks everyone... yes that is correct, I've been too involved in other work to really focus on FoF - but as soon as I get far enough ahead again I will be back.
Keep up the great work with these patches; don't worry, I plan to build on the latest when I return, and if this mod has indeed somehow split into two trees of development I will do my best to re-integrate the two. There should be no reason why any feature should require a separate version (as was the case when we needed 1.1 to play drums) -- optimally, there should be one "latest" version with all features available as options, or theme-specific.
And to all the players, you don't have to be a coder to help mod development efforts. When you encounter a problem, just do your best to isolate what causes it. Especially those of you who are familiar with watching the memory usage; it would be extremely helpful to know, for example, that a certain action in-game causes an increase in memory usage every time. Or, if there is a section with lag, did the memory usage jump up and stay up when the lag began? These are the kind of observations that might give one of us coders insight on how to further optimize things.
Edit: this also will provide a test procedure to check whether or not things have improved after a code change. Consistent and repeatable are the key words describing a good test procedure. That is, every time one performs this procedure, the problem happens.

The plans are that the hotfixes will be incorporated into Hero FoF as they are released, anyway. Thus, the hotfixes serve as "short-term updates" since Hero FoF will only be released later.

Yeah, because your not using the BG that came with the proper build here. That's a separate one provided by a user to use since it's a little bit sharper then the original one. REASON BEING, it's not stretched to work with FoF currently, which is why i didn't do that, this is the exact reason why i was using mine only as a temp, until some coding was done to be able to use my gh3 rip's DIRECTLY without having to scale in size to fit properly. Just use the included one with the Alarian-MFH mod for now. This is on my list to be fixed. FoF code just needs to be tweaked a little to properly draw my pixel-perfect version image with the correct dimensions, instead of having to enlarge the image itself (hense, distortion added) to fit FoF. Which is the same thing that GH3 itself uses. The image is 16x9, but the game auto-scales it in game to fit 4x3, or whatever resolution your settings are at.

*facepalm* If you guys had mentioned that earlier, we wouldn't have had this problem in the first place!
