Hey when i was playing the GH3 theme in 2.9 the text was leaning to the right in the settings menu, Also whenever i play on either theme the game lags in the beginning of the song.

Damn man...read posts before and download the latest patch!

Dunno why, but between the 2.812 and the 2.9, something occured that don't appreciate the ~ (say sorry to Spanishes :p).

This has probably been mentioned before, but the guitar controller and the drum kit set use the same buttons, as far as the game is concerned, so I can't use them together. When they're both set to the same keys, I can use the drums, but the guitar keys won't register and I have to wipe the drum keys in order to use it again.

Not sure if that's something can be fixed, or if I should just use something like JoytoKey, but I thought I'd give ya a heads up.

this is weird, i just went from my old nvidia 8800 gts to a new radeon hd 4870 and the in alarian is started showing me as hitting the notes later than i used to. i of course beforehand had the a/v lag set up so on average i would get the same number of +whatever as -whatever hits, and with this new card it was always -whatever. i had to raise the a/v lag 25-30ms to adjust.

is this just due to a faster frames per second or did the nvidia card have an actual lag in drawing to the screen? i had both hooked up to an lcd via dvi.

wow i never thought about that but it seems strange cause they are different "joysticks".

just meke 2 different .ini one for the guitar settings and one for the drums till there is a better solution

xpadder should do the job, it accepts 2 joysticks and different configs.

Okay, I was getting this problem too but I wasn't getting any of the other problems that other people were getting. I fixed the invalid literal and possibly the other problems as well.

I have the latest patch by wolferacing and the only thing i found for the settings menu is this

1 problen in Version 2.900.
in Menu options, image optionpanel This shifted to the left.

Only in Gh3 Mod.

+Fixed Options Panel
+Set Constant option for board speed is fixed
+Board Speed % is now labeled Constant Speed
----Constant Speed only affects Set Constant Option
----The lower the Constant Speed is the faster it goes, the higher it is the slower it goes
----Changed limit from 150 to 200
+Invalid literal is no longer a problem

2.902 linux patch released

EDIT- This release has some performance issues not exhibited in other releases. constant board speed does not work correctly. other board speed options cause jerkiness. consider this a testing release.

EDIT2- I can't figure out what the issue is but when you select constant and 100 the board speed is so fast it is unplayable. with BPM or Difficulty or both selected the game is jerky and stutters.

I would recommend for linux users to stick to 2.9 until these issues have been resolved.

so blazingamer...if i want my constant speed to be the "old" 150%...i would set it to 50%?

is it possible to turn off starpower? tried to set SP refill to None but special notes keep coming, and i hate them
