I created 4 HQ 1280x1024 backgrounds featuring Slash, Morello, Lou and skeleton (i forgot it's name...) in addition to my backgrounds already used in this mod. Check it out.

is it a known bug that the drum high scores only include the "score" and not the percentage and stuff?

Heres a new fix I coded!

My latest code fixes the "perfect" star color issue with Rock band. Now when using the rock band theme scoring perfect will activate gold stars on the game results screen instead of green ones. Themes other than rock band will still be green stars.

This is for the latest hotfix.

Just replace your library.zip with the new one. Back up your old library!

Have fun! :D

I figured out some of the features that weren't working correctly in the linux releases are due to case sensitivity issues in the source... big surprise... us linux folk and case sensitivity... anyways, as i posted in the linux thread, the in-game star calculation can be fixed by renaming starperfect.png to starPerfect.png. If i find any other issues that can be solved by this I'll update the linux release thread with the data files which must be renamed. In my next full release they will already be renamed to work with the source, so MFH doesn't have to change anything. I might be able to solve the tail issues in Gh3 themes if this is the problem...

jnuz... wierd, I try to make sure that any file names I add are all lowercase. I only capitalize variable names for ease of reading -- any idea what I'm doing that's causing case sensitivity issues?

in the source it's listed as starPerfect.png. That's the only one i found so far, but then again I haven't looked very hard. and renaming it works fine.

EDIT: As long as the data file names match what is in the source it'll be ok

How about that... that was unintentional, I'll keep my eye out for more but let me know of any other case issues you find and I will correct them in future patches.

About the GH3 score font not having all the char's. Yes, i made that font by hand from scratch with just the digits since i was only making that for the score purpose only. Thanks for adding specifics to the theme.ini file. Can't wait for other custom placements, like difficulty text placement and pause/failed text placements. That way i can perfect those area's in GH3 next. Oh, and options too, then i can do that one up as well.
Time to mess with the analog xbox whammy fix. Thanks for that one!!!! NICE!!!!

Yep, now that Blazingamer has gotten the basic framework in place for theme customizations with separate theme.ini files, we will be adding many more positioning, sizing, and color options for the truly custom themes.

Very nice to hear that. That will allow me to most finish the perfected GH3 theme then. However, one thing for sure about the failed/pause screens, it needs to be only 1 font used, not 2 different if that could be changed. I'm about the post a theme.ini for GH3 so the main screen text is properly aligned, right now it's too far over to the right. Gimme a min, about to change that.

Cool, I'll put the link in the first post.

More info for those interested in the new theme.ini and its potential:

Since basic support for the default theme.ini has been in place for quite a while, there are many aspects of the game that may be tweaked here now. The existing theme.ini variables need to be tested and documented by someone, if you look at the default data\theme.ini file you will see a couple settings in there from before.

You can also open up the library.zip and take a look in Theme.py --- this will show you what features are supposed to be changeable in the theme.ini, and give you more to experiment with in the meantime.

Here's the theme.ini for proper GH3 menu alignment-

[theme]
menu_x = .67
menu_y = .82

I am also going to (1 last time) redo the main screen so FoF displays it right. I'm using the rip'd images, but fof still displays them wrong (scales them still), so i will correct that to offset the difference, so it looks the way it should.
