*1. I feel the stock sounds are fine, but the menu music had to go...
*2. Most buttons/GUI gfx are modded versions. They have been tweaked to go with the theme and optimized for smaller size :)

This looks good. Seriously. The mod stays with the same kind of pictures in every screen and it looks great, though I'm more of a GH notes guy.

The only qualm I have about the whole thing is the pause menu. I only wish that the sides and the corners could seamlessly fit into the rest of the picture instead of being squared out. Maybe you could speckle it or something?

Funny you should mention the pause.png :)
It was the only part of this that gave me any real trouble... for some reason it always wanted to stretch out, regardless of what I did to it. I ended up just making a 1280x960 pic with about 320x320 or so worth of image :D
I will play around with it a lot more before I release a final version.

THIS IS AWESOME!!!
rockband always pissed me off cuz it was too colorful and.... nice i guess lol
