Do you know if the lag is caused by the load on your internet connection, or if it is caused by the load being placed on your computer's resources?

it could be by either. Or how much Bandwith you're taking up (most likely). It's fine until fof starts up

Did you consider using Microsoft's Remote Desktop Client built into Windows XP/Vista? I really have no idea if it would work, but it uses the RDP protocol which is very efficient.

To get rid of the "vulnerable" problem.

Just end "explorer.exe" in your task manager. Then all that's left is the game, and the background.

And to get it back, just start a new task and enter "explorer.exe".

Also, I will be available to play tommorow 10am ET - 2pm ET. So, if you want to play sometime during that span, let me know.

A decent internet connection is required. When italianstal1ion and jrdnxxhero were playing, they had 100 mbps and 54 mbps respectivley. I have 11 mbps so when I played with both of them, it sucked.

Not entirely true rednano, I had a 10mbp/s connection and it turned out better than 50mbp/s. Although It could have been me having everything closed exept for fof and notepad.

But here are some things to free up space and reduce lag.

1.Fast Connection ( 40mb/s or higher)
2.Close As Much As You Can to free your cpu and bandwith
3. buy more memory for your computer.

Thats about all I can think of as of now..

I'd really like to try this with someone that has a 100 mb/ps connection or higher, and with at least a gig of ram, just to see how well it would work. If you have DSL and connect directly to your router you probably have 100 mbps. If anyone who wants to try has that kind of connection please PM me.
