My intention wasn't a kind of defending my kind of creating the pics, or starting a stupid flamewar now, but more disagreeing the statement
because not anyone can do it. The one who wants to do it wil have to have both, the idea of making such an avatar and the ability to work this idea out. And sorry, but since my early bbs-networktimes i didn' t see any similar avatar in this style, only backgrounds, walpapers, textures or covers in this style,but even not using this style as an avatar. This is the reason why i think the idea itself is the art,even if it's not art in calssical manners (this would be more "Designworks" in my opinion).ADH wrote:i agree any one can do that

I was just simply stating that I wasn't impressed. The reason you got all defensive and pissy is because it was your work, and may (and probably) have put some hard work into it and/or had self pride in it, and that's understandable.
I' really not so pissed off than you're obviously thinking about me beeing...it wasn't your statement of not beeing anyway impressed what i taked against, only an explanation of my point of view about whats art independant from the tools one can work it out with, and this was related to ADHs statement,not yours

I'm really not new in Internet (only new in this Forum here), and i know that some missunderstandings just depend on subtones which one guess to recognize and that the really meaned subtones might be totaly different from the tone the opponent recognizes,sometimes depending on oneselfs motherlanguage (and mine isn't engish but german,maybe that i missexpressed my opinion then a little bit so that it could have been just accidentally misstaken, but i guess that this was my expressive fault then, not yours. Hopefully this is cleared now and we don't tumble in a nonsense-flamewar for those few missunderstandings now :;): kindly regards,
