we could make non moving characters, and a set of characters in a character file, wher u pick a char in the settings or befor game starts, all you would have to do is make it so the image goes to one of the sides, and goes over the existing background, you may think this is hard, but not realy, this is almost like neck select, exept it doesent move and goes to the side, + then if here was a characters file you could make your own custom people
Also: Is it posible to put .gif's into fof?

Put the character on the background yourself?
If it floats around it wouldnt make much sense, now would it?

It wouldn't have to float around, it could just stay in place, to the side of the screen. It could be a simple static image overlayed ontop of the stage, and to the side of the fretboard. Then all you'd have to do is make a character select manu, like the fretboard select menu.
Right? <.<
Someone could make a template person and allow people to mod it into your own characters xD

This really could be possible. I'd love to recreate Skwisgaar!
BTW, I just had an idea. What if you had a few png's for each character according to their performance? ie, you do good, the character's "good" png or whatever it would be called would show, showing them going crazy with the guitar or whatever. When you start doing bad, your character's "bad" png would show your character getting angry or discoraged or whatever. It just seems like that would be better than a still image the whole song, but it seems possible too.

I dont think so
Yes, it's supported already. However, animated gif's require additional functions. Google for those.

This seems feasible, perhaps for a protoype you could use the existing neck select screen and have it load twice (like how editor is used for both difficutly and part) and have a Character folder like your necks folder with your character. However I dont think the character showing up on stage is a good idea, too much stage variation and no good place to put the character to make them realistic. I do like the idea of good, mediocre, and bad haracters, and maybe you could place them in the Game Results screen with the good character if they got 4 or 5 stars on a song, medium for 3 stars, etc. etc.
Might be working on DH2
