btw: wireless means no tripping on wires and pulling the computer to the floor :;):

yep, my thoughts exactally... the wireless also appeals to me as the youth will often get jamming and forget that MY laptop is on the other end of that USB cord *facepalm*

That's what your wiimote is supposed to do. :D Look in my sig and you will find my topic on GlovePIE scripts and you will learn how to get it working with frets on fire. :D

Edit: sorry...it is the topic that says "play drums with wiimote and nunchuk". The topic is not just for drums though. :D

Ok I'll be as verbose as I can in order to try and resolve this, cause using my Wii Controllers would be so benificial...

Step 1: I launch my bluetooth detections on my computer (listed as a Wii controller compatable machien from another site)

Step 2: I press 1 and 2 to put the wii controller in seeking/detect mode

Step 3: the PC detects the controller, asks for a pass key, I select No Passkey

Step 4: The Controller Gets detected as a Bluetooth HID device by Vista.... The Lights on the Controller continue to Blink, The controlelr is listed as a game controller, but you can do nothing to it... (no calabration etc)

Step 5: run GlovePIE

Step 6: open the script from your thread for operating 2 wii controllers in Frets of Fire

Step 7: Click Run, to run the script, the code area goes Greay and Run is replaced with Stop...

Step 8: launch Frets on Fire

Step 9: no matter what I do, I get no reaction from the Wii controller on frets with GlovePIE running.... any ideas?

Wow I reread my post and it looks like english is not my first language :/

Yer I have to side with you... every example I have seen on youtube and such after the controller is detected the lights should go solid on the controller....

I would consider getting a seperate bluetooth dongle (not my PC's internal) if I was sure it would work.... but I'm not so sure... I'd prefer a nice hard wire (or wireless) USB I think.... some people said that the older Guitar hero 2 Xbox360 controller is compatable also...

Yeah i was going to buy another dongle but i figured it wasn't worth it so i bought GHIII guitars and yes the old xbox guitars work also so if they are cheaper then thats a good idea but they were the same price here so i went for wireless also might i recommend not getting rockband controllers i bought one because i thought it would be cool to have a les paul and a stratocaster however when i got home i realized that it felt cheap and it would break easier than GHIII les pauls so i traded it.

Memes are so funny hahaha I'm splitting with laughter I can't control this laughter at this meme which uses a word incorrectly oh hahaha

:glare:

That was EPIC.

My songs. All made in EOF, beat-synced and note-synced, not very many missed notes.

yep, I went to the key settings, I tried both to reprogram the keys with the guitar, and to match the GlovePIE script keys with what the keyboard should be mapped to.... but goign to test the keys or play the songs results from nothing from the controller...

In reference to the Christian Songs, I also found the link to the FoF song Wiki... great resource there...

thank you all so much for the help... this is fantastic (not to mention fast responces) I've gone from 0 to 95% in 1 day!

nothing...

I get no responce from the Wii Controller inside or outside of FoF with the exception that the bluetooth seems to accept it, and install it...

I think that my bluetooth tho listed as a compatable bluetooth for Wii is simply not the case.

1.What device are you using?
2. Who's script are you using?
3. See if when you have the GlovePIE script running you can type anything in notepad by pressing buttons on your wii guitar.

Since I have no idea what that is I'll have to say.... No....

Who is Nyko and why is he a Frontman? :)
