Speak for yourself. What he says is his opinion, just like you have your's. I agree with what he says though, GH3 does suck.
What Activision is doing is ripping off Harmonix and that can't be denied.
Activision are skaters they should stick to pushing mongo and let Harmonix,
people who know more about music and how to make awesome rhythm games have this genre.
Maybe this will be a good thing for Harmonix, They will come up with some more innovative and awesome ways for us to enjoy our music.

Yeah... But it's for all consoles! Unlike RB, it's only available for PS3 and XBox360.

Gh4 isn't confirmed for PC and I wouldn't be surprised if they decided not to port it. GH3 didn't sell well and I don't think there's much of a market for games like Rock Band on the PC.

less people gather around a computer monitor with a PC and play plastic instruments than on a TV with a console I think

Oh... When I meant all consoles, I didn't know the PC counted as well.

.... Well I for 1 am stoked for GH4, though I believe Rockband will pwn it and Rockband2 will uber-pwn it. And Aduro what I meant about the divore analogy was that things were better when it was just Guitar Hero (by harmonix) because there wasn't all this competition for songs/artists and since obviously Activision is trying to milk the GH name for all it's worth and as a result Harmonix may end up lowering there quality level to keep up.

Sidenote: In my analogy GuitarFreaks would be like the freaky old grandpa
Might be working on DH2

Wow, a lot of hate in this thread. I'll buy it for the drums and the guitar. Before anyone tells me that is what RB is for, the guitar sucked in there. It isn't the charts, they were actually very good (song choice was mostly rhythm though...) just the controller was a mistake. The RB Fender has the best fret buttons out of all of the controllers, but the strum bar was a big mistake. Mine got all tweaked and started double-strumming in 3 months.

The RB drums lacked cymbals and the base pedal wasn't designed to play expert on... ??? After about three weeks of playing some of the hard-as-hell expert songs on drums, my pedal broke in half -_-

GH4 has a new guitar implement (which we don't know yet what it is...) that could be any range of things. I for one would like to know how a sixth fret button would do :D Everyone has pretty much mastered the 5 buttons, so why not step that up? Give a new challenge, gives a wider variety to the charts, and the drum controller already has 2 cymbals, 3 pads, and a pedal (2+3+1=6).

Mainly, I got bored with the RB songs because they are either too easy or too hard or I heard them too much (like I still can't listen to Sweet Child o' Mine). GH4 will be another thing that I go waste my money on, but which one of us won't? We did for Rock Band...which was good, and sucked later.

I just hope they stick with circular notes for GH4...

Looks good. The only part I'm not looking foward to is paying another $150+. But it looks like it might be worth it.

At least was silent, not like the stupid GH controller that totally spoils it for me.

I don't expect any regular people to create any good songs. Maybe Puppetz (assuming he buys it), but that's it.

I will never buy a GH...
