Yes. I have both tested with two Guitar controllers, and with the keyboard keys assigned as default. Both tested it on my laptop and on my desktop computer. Same error.

I dunno then... ;_; Party mode seems to be working for me. I'm using a Xbox 360 X-plorer controller, and a Gibson Ps2 controller with a PS2 to USB converter. I dont have any problems with it.

Now I tested with a clean install of Alarian 2.0 without hotfix. Deleted the fretsonfire.ini. Only changed number of players in settings, and started Party Mode. Same error.

I don't really like hopos after chords, it's buggy :/ I'll post screenshots later.

Use GH2 Sloppy for now for chord pull-offs that work right. Any screenshots of problematic patterns, or test songs, will help debug, as this is the issue I'm currently going to try to fix. It's probably not gonna be quick...

Hotfix 26 is out BTW, finally figured out how to make Alarian's code work

--26) Link -- Blessedmain's "You Rock!" graphic and EdisLeado's crowd cheer SFX played when you finish a song, before scoring. Thanks to Alarian for the original code suggestion to achieve this. Separate GFX for each theme - feel free to submit alternate images and sounds.

I'm not sure about the current HOPO after chord in GH2-Strict.

Before the HotFix that solved other HOPOs in GH2-Strict, it was impossible for me to hit a HOPO after chord.

Now i can hit them sometimes, so... it is probably me being a bad player. I can't find a bug pattern yet.

without hopo after chord:

with hopo after chord:

orange fret isn't hopo in second screen and I think it should be but I may be wrong.

song: hate me - children of bodom. I test new releases with this song because of various hopo sections and I like it very much.

also fingers you can add my stages and neck compilation to your first post.

Emp - I'm not sure I understand the experiment. Was the top test with a different hotfix than the second? Which HOPO system was used? Obviously I'm looking at the same time index in both shots.

Are you trying to show me that, before I added after-chord pull-offs, the pictured orange fret was a HOPO but since I added the after-chord HOPOs it never is? If so, what you provided in this bug report is absolutely perfect for me to be able to hunt this particular situation down. Thank you :)

Edit: of course, adding your graphics links to the first post now.

Has anyone else got the error: "UnboundLocalError: local variable 'PLAYER2KEYS' referenced before assignment" in PARTY MODE, or is it just me. :(

make yourself an admin if you can. if you can't, im not sure. maybe look up an answer on google.

EDIT: wait, if i upload a copy of my .ini would you be able to replace your old one or would the admin control thing not let you?

@Fingers: I think I know what the problem is with the GH2 strict HOPO after chord issue. It was the same thing that was happening before the fix to the strict system a while back. I was testing the song "In Bloom" by Nirvana from RB, and it wouldn't let me HOPO a note after a chord UNLESS I was already holding the note. So there is a section with this
-----O--
P-------
P-------
which I cannot HOPO the "O", but I could do it on this pattern.

P----O--
P--------
----------
Hope this helps.

Oh, and
P-----
-------
P----O
-------
-------

doesn't work. I miss the note each time, except, now that I think about it, this really shouldn't be a HOPO anyway. It is just like a repeated note, whereas before, I was holding a higher fret and went to a lower one.
