UPDATE/ V3 of the Hybrid Mod is up for download!

There's *really* not much to improve on now -- But there were a few tiny nitpicks which I just *had* to change.

By downloading this patch, you'll get...

Code: Select all

- Improved rock meters.
- Cleaner/more colourful GH3 notes.
- Better GH3 menus.
- New failing text.
- New clapping sound.
- New multiplier lights.
- Updated loading screens for both RB and GH3.
- Cleaner difficulty selection screen.
- A new Rock Band songlist background.
- Improved Rock Band notes.
- Updated GH3 game results background.
- Cleaner GH3 fret buttons.
- Cleaner/improved GH3 strings.
- Better stage backgrounds.
- Improved neck selection.
- MUCH improved Star Power/Overdrive sounds.
- Improved GH3 settings background.

Otherwise, all my other stuff/improvements are already included in the mod :p

There's alot more that I haven't shown -- Couldn't be bothered to make more screenshots -- Download the patch and look at the new stuff yourself :p

Installation Tips:
Download Alarian's 2.0 mod first -- Install that, then download my patch and overwrite the files in Alarian's install.

Make sure you delete ALL your stages in your GHIII and RB folders before you install the patch. If you have any customs, just change the file numbering.

Also, the neck selection is pretty organized -- So delete all your necks as well -- You can keep your custom ones if you have any -- Just rename them.

Have fun!

V3 (Mediafire.com) Thanks to rednano12 for providing the Mediafire mirror.

Also, thanks to Evil Ken for supplying some of the ingame backgrounds for me to modify :p

Hey EdisLeado, nice job buddy!!! Sorry mine was cut and pasted looking. It was 5:30am in the morning when i was MSN'ing with Alarian (before going to bed), and just quickly threw that together in a minute to give him something as an idea of concept, using the high quality background i did (10:30am his time) so he had something to see til I got around to making the real one. He was just wanting me to show him a background with my GH3 v1.1 mod text in it instead of the older style. Yours looks great man!!! I was going to finish it, but i won't need to now, that looks nice. :) Thank you.

PS- Haven't downloaded yet, but is the GH3 main screen actually 800x600 instead of 1024x768, or is it just the image service you used to display the picture? Just asking, because i am going to still continue if it isn't.

Yeah, the one included in the download is actually 1024x768 like it should be and not 800x600 like in the preview picture. ;)

Yep, in the actual game -- The overdrive notes aren't any different from the normal ones -- Only the neck changes and starts glowing.
