This is a decent compilation to start with, just download the zip from the link in the first post here and extract it to a new folder.

If you've already had Frets On Fire installed, you may want to delete your %appdata%\fretsonfire.ini file (definitely do this if you have trouble with the tappable notes).

Then, go to where you extracted it and double click on the Frets On Fire.exe file to start the game.

When in doubt, hunt around on this board a bit, someone probably has already asked many of the questions you'll have.

Ech. I've got no clue how to change the themes/mods, and the hammer ons aren't appearing for all my songs =(

Any help? Please?

Oh, and those big fat lines won't go away. I tried editing the images for them but that apparently wasn't the problem? o.O

i still think this has the sweetest hitflames (color of the fret) and hitglows (color of the .png). plus this was mfh first compolation

but it's way outdated.
