Hey,
I have a problem at playing songs where I have to play combinations which are composed of more than two frets.
I know my keyboard has something to do with this, and so I want to buy another one. But which one? My brother's got a model by Microsoft where you can play all frets together, but it's no good to use with FoF because of its weight and the design.
First I thought almost all keyboards have this problem, except the ones with "anti-ghosting". But it's described nowhere that my brother's keyboard has got this feature! Anyone can give me an advice which keyboard I should buy?
Some of you surely have got a keyboard which don't make these problems, so could you please post the model and the manufacturer? Thank you and sorry for my bad English ;)

I don't want to pay 40 dollars, I don't like the normal Guitar Hero-Controller. I want to play with my keyboard. So please post keyboards which don't make these problems I described ;)
Thank you and sorry for my bad English^^

Ok i will now give you the list of Keyboards that Have no " short cuts" built into them ( meaning you can press more than 3 keys at once. )

So. thats the list . which one do you like :)

Ok so im being sarcastic :p ... the short answer is ALL keyboards have this problem Even your brothers Keyboard has it, it might be on different keys but it will still happen. When i say All keyboards i think there are like 3 models that dont have shortcuts.
I know one of them is an Apple keyboard, but i dont know which apple keyboard.. Sorry. EVEN the OPTIMUS keyboard, which costs over 1000 Euros, has this problem!

The only solutions to your problem are either..
Buy a guitar controller Or change what keys you use to play the game. ( there will be a a place on your keyboard you CAN press more than 2 keys at once)

*EDIT I just thought you should see this. Its our FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions Look at the very first question at the top.. It basically tells you the same as what i said but shorter, if you had read that you wouldnt have needed to even post .

My brother's keyboard was only 40 euros expensive and can do that. He also tried on other keys!
And I won't buy this stupid GH controller because I can't play with it!^^
I heard about also three keyboards, I think, which absolutely have no problems when more than 3 keys are pressed on them, but I looked how expensive they are... About 100 to 200 euros. Absolutely too much. And someone has no problems with pressing the F-keys from 1 to 5, I think... So please this someone posts his keyboard ;)

Read the FAQ, use the 2 note chords in RF-Mod, change your keys etc etc.

But mostly READ THE FAQ.
Its just like life. Quite interesting in parts, but no substitute for the real thing.

Instead of using the "F" keys, have you tried stretching your hand around and using the # keys? (1-5) (Worked for me untill my bro got GH and I started using the controller)

All logitech keyboards i tried so far (they get killed every 3 months to beer) work very well with ~1234 as frets. This includes their cheap models, but you better get a wireless for maximal enjoyment.
To GH controller fans: There are things what you can't easily do with a controller but can with a keyboard and vice versa. Anyway, i'm only playing with a controller if i'm performing infront others, keyboard is so much more Jürgen stlyle ;]
Keep trying no matter how annoying! ;]
