It iiiiiiiiiiiiz possible... We could have some agreed apon songs, post a topic in the high score forum and see who could get the most points... And then they can get... something. Like an uber secret song or the whammy bar that all the moderators are holding out on us(I JUST KNOW IT! I'm watchin' you... BlackFate...). Unless you mean an INGAME tournament. In which case, is highly improbable.

Yes, of course! We moderators all have this secret mod which has whammy bars working with our fof, and magically not screwing up the whole song. :O :p

This can only be arranged with people you know IRL. Because if you just screenshotted your highscore, who's not to say you just randomly put some notes in the song and called it an FC of something?

On ScoreHero, it works on little other than "the honour system" (i.e. no system at all). You have to post some scores before it starts so they know what division to put you in. You just submit scores by typing in your score, % and longest streak. You don't even need a picture (it is much more inconvenient to take a picture with a console game). The mods use their own judgement and if they think your scores are questionable (based on your previous scores that you submitted before it started) then you are asked for a picture.

Although it's much easier to fake a picture on FoF (still possible on the PS2 GH1 and GH2 if you burn a custom disc), and the people here might be more likely to cheat (for one thing, the vast majority of them all download songs illegally), so it might be harder to run. I guess you wouldn't be able to trust pictures at all for proof.

All I'd say: Organize a topic of this in the 'verified scores' section and don't forget to tell participators to make a youtube movie of their run (With the countdown part still in it). A movie is more trustworthy than a picture and easier to judge whether someone is cheating or not. You ARE limited to the people that have a YT account but the best FoF players usually have one.

I know, it IS very limited.

But then again, I don't get why pictures are no good, cuz the 'Verified scores' section has been using them for as long as this forum exists without a single bit of trouble. If a tournament like this comes up we need someone that could tell by the score of a certain song (Assuming he played that song a lot) if a person is cheating or not (Like, the score is too low for a 100%/FC or impossible with 55%).

Videos are a good idea. You could always just set up a video camera in front of your computer if you get too much lag. That would actually be more trustworthy because you could see the hands too.

What would be better, if it was a forum tournament, which is just posting your scores and screenshots to verify it, and one with the highest score wins, but it must be a certain song.
