Um, I use a keyboard. Although it's a thinner keyboard, on my laptop, so it's easier to do this. I also sit the keyboard down, not hold it like a guitar. I use M and K for struming. I hold my index finger/middle finger out, and slide it back and forth from the M key to the K key really fast. It does work pretty well as long as you can keep the right speed. It might sound odd, but it works. Like I said, I have a thinner keyboard, so it's easier to slide your fingers on. Hope it helps :/

When I used my index and middle finger to strum the Enter and Shift keys (my strum buttons), I got every single note on the speedpicking parts in The Devil Went Down to Georgia on Amazing...you just need the right timing

Well I can do it just fine, as long as it doesn't do that for 90% of the song, like alot of the Dragonforce songs. When it comes to stuff like that(DF) My fingers start getting tired, so I gotta do like I said above.

I use enter and shift for strumming, it's lot easier than strumming with just enter.

Using Del and End above the arrow keys always worked for me. You might need big(ish) hands for it though...

Also, your 3 note chord problem, please read the FAQ. Its answered in there.
Its just like life. Quite interesting in parts, but no substitute for the real thing.

If you can't strum fast enough alt stumming use both keys at once.

Yea, What I do is what vedi said, and I don't know, but this might help some people.

My keyboard lets me hold F5-F9 all at the same time and I can pick and alt pick using Numpad 7 and 8.

for extreme fast strumming consider "vibrating" the keyboard itself while holding your strum key, takes a while to master but unbeatably fast ;]
Keep trying no matter how annoying! ;]

I use the KP_+ and KP_enter keys so I can just mash down on them when speedpicking since they're so huge. :)
All of my songs can be found at My song thread.
