Make sure you are using fof 1.1.
Well if it's just the HO/POs your talking about, you can change the colors in your config settings (fretsonfire.ini). It should be in the same folder as the fretsonfire.exe.
scroll down to [theme]
hopo_color = #FFFFFF
hopo_color2 = #FFFFFF
That's for all white HO/POs
It sounds like your regular notes are all white though, and when the hopos come you can't distinguish them from the regular notes? If that's the case, I ran into that when I tried running my mod in ultimate coffee 2.0 for 1.1. I think UC2.0 renders the meshes (terminology?) differently so you have to use his notes. The Hi-Poly look great though and work fine with the mod. If you see all white notes and hopos but are NOT using the ultimate coffee mod, then I am baffled...

Might be working on DH2
I am in progress... want some screens? ANYONE KNOW HOW TO CHANGE THE JURGEN POWER DARK BLUE IN ULTIMATE COFFEE MOD V.20 FOR 1.1? And please don't say change the jurgenpowercolor to 0099FF. It was ineffective in the config settings, and also in the theme. I have it set to blue but it just isn't what I am going for... Argh...
Anyways, anyone know how???
*looks at wolferacing
*looks at coffee
*clears throat
Anyone???

If you look in settings>rf mod>performance settings, there are some things you can change to make it run a little faster. Some things may make it look a bit less pretty, but that's the tradeoff. I have a pretty solid graphics card so everything runs pretty well and looks pretty good for me, but if you fiddle around with the settings untill you find what works best for you, it should help. Also, look in the mod folder at the notes.dae (I think they're like 51kb) Raph's alt notes look good and are pretty small , about half the size (28kb) I think, and replacing those should help with some lag in the actual gameplay scene. It's a trial and error process untill you find what works best for you. If anyone else has any suggestions on making the mod run a little cleaner, please let me know.
I'm also re-releasing this mod soon, as a standalone, /mod folder only, and a Ultimate Coffee version. I will work on improving some of the stock settings in my standalone version, but the UC version makes that one look lightning fast. User's on slower PC's are probably better off getting the /mod folder only (the re-release, my current /mod folder only has some known compatability issues) and installying it on their fastest running version of FoF. I'm redoing all the background images in photoshop (the current version was almost completely edited in mspaint) and that might help some, if the files end up bieng smaller.
Thanx for the input,
Dævid
