I can't seem to get this working on my Intel macbook! Any help is greatly appreciated! I tried both the file in the first post, and the "fixed" version but the fixed version is just a plain FoF dmg file without the RF mod.

edit: i got it to work! cool thanks!

Hey,
Sorry if this has already been asked, couldn't see it anywhere - does anyone have the problem where the notes are turned on their side? It only does it if I turn a mod on, and it does it for all mods. It doesn't do it when I use a version w/o RFMod.

iMac G5 PPC

Cheers

So if you go to Settings is there RFmod Settings down the bottom?

Yea, I found it. Also for the sideways notes, I had that problem also but realized that I had to simply replace my notes.dae file in the mod folder to a notes.dae file that is compatible with my version of FoF that I am running.

Ok, in finder type command-shift-G, that should bring up a little window that says "go to folder" on it. In the textbox, type "~/.fretsonfire/" Exactly as I have it there. That will take you to a hidden folder called .fretsonfire. In it is a file called fretsonfire.ini. Open that with Textedit (make sure its textedit because word will screw it up). Then under [player] and [player 0], change whatever it says after "name =" to whatever you want your name to be, and save the file. Just remember to never type a name in while you're ingame, because you wont be able to delete it. The mac version currently has a bug that prevents you from deleting characters. In the fretsonfire.ini, you can also change your fret colors if you want to. Hope that helps.

bigtory.net does not resolve to any IP address
Can anybody perhaps send it the modded dmg to me, or is there a mirror out there?

Frets on Fire.dmg.

The binary works on my imac g5 no problem, and it's supposed to be universal, but has yet to be tested on an intel mac.

Much thanks to Syberdave for his extensive help in putting this together.

The "Frets on Fire_fixed.dmg" links don't work for me, I get the "server not found" error… any suggestions?
