I hold it pretty much like the guy in the picture although you could argue I hold it kind of like an accordion since it's more sideways than guitar-ways. oh and I changed my pick buttons to left arrow and up arrow since they're closer together, easier to push, and make less noise.

Like the mascot, most definitely.

Did this while I played GH songs on Medium/Hard, and then switched to a guitar controller when I finally got to Expert (And picked up a 360 version of GH2 cheaply from a friend, which works great, and Rock Band for x-mas. :p)

If i could purchase one...i would have the guitar but since i don't i use the keyboard flat over my legs (it's more confortable for me)

Well, I play using my joypad like a PS2 / XBox Controller D:

Well I have a laptop so I tried holding it like the mascot, I decided not to do that again after almost dropping my laptop.

Then I just went flat for awhile.

A couple weeks later I went to a flea market and bought a used one for $2 and then played like a mascot.

And finally for christmas I got a PS2 guitar controller, good thing was I already had a generic PS2USB adapter and I've been using that ever since.

So, I've done all of the above, and since there was not E, I just got some scrap paper, put a circle, scribbled it in, and wrote E all the above and just taped that on my monitor on top of the poll.

I hold the keyboard more or less like the mascot, I hold it like how I hold my Guitar Hero Controller.

I play mascot style, except every first friday, when I play GH1-3, and FoF on a huge projector, then I use my blue flying v, with blue LED backlit strumbar, its a wireless one.
PS every first friday at the public library, we get to use the movie room, surround sound FTW
PSS Never Froget guy, my friend can play jordon, on expert, with his back to screen, and get 100%

I play on a keyboard and DON'T hold it like SOME people in this thread.
I always have and always will.
(unless my buddy who has the 360 version of GH3 lets me borrow one his controllers :p)

I use the keyboard traditionally, but as soon as i get FoF working on my Vista I will use the guitar controller i got with GH3 for my 360.

Dude, I have Vista. It works fine.

Why do so many people hate vista? It's fine (buggy, however, if you use a transformation pack).
