how do you use the x-box guitar on the comp?

only the GH2 one works because it has a USB plug

plug it in and install the xbox 360 controler driver then turn on joy 2 key (dont do anything on it) then turn on frets on fire, go to settings, and change the keys to the buttons on the remote

I used the keyboard for a few weeks, but I bought an X-plorer and am loving it. I use Linux and it took me awhile to figure out what was going wrong when I tried to load the xpad module to use it in FOF, but I finally figured it out (missing trailing / in Makefile).

Occasionally I reboot to play GH3 in Windows, but FOF is usually good enough for me. It's got amazing potential and I hope it evolves through the years to live up to that potential.

I use the keyboard otherside, and I use only 3 fingers for hitting the frets, and one pick if that matters....

I play it flat...but only because i'm using a Zboard. Which has an extra row of buttons at the top, a built in palm rest and non moveable stands.

Now that I've gotten an actual Guitar hero game and gotten good with the guitar, I've realized what a piece of digestive results using the keyboard is. I can definetly play a lot better with the guitar now that I'm used to it, and playing with the keyboard feels horrible now.

standing up allways!!! weather im using one of my guitars or my keyboard, Yes i will still play using the keyboard from time to time. Just in case my guitars break and i have to go back to keyboards, at least i wont have that learning curve again!
