Ya, that may help. XD. If you couldn't understand what he was trying to say, maybe you should upload your FOF setup. Upload the data folder and i swap the files out, one by one, and see what needs to be changed for it to work correctly. xD
Life would be so much easier if we just had the damn source code.

I'm still saying it probably has to do with your graphics card. I don't know, I just have my graphics settings to optimize for my computer. I have antialiasing at 2, svg quality at normal, resolution at 640x480 but these kind of things wouldn't alter the brightness would they. I even tried that tutorial that amplitude posted and applied those before posting the newest versions, nothing.
If i upload my standard 1.1 version i downloaded from here? I'm not sure that would help, if you download the 1.1 version from here, it will already be the exact same. That's what i meant with 1.1 download, no mods added. I meant i also tried downloading plain 1.1 with nothing, blank default settings, and still had really bright settings. I'll flip back to an old drivers set for sake keep. I've went through at least 5 new drivers since then, and did it will all them, but lemme try an older set to see. It's worth a shot, if not, we can eliminate that theory. I use a GF 7600GT card w/256 onboard. AMD system 5000+ w/2 gigs of 5600ram i think and Audigy 2 ZX in a small tote box i use to take with most of the time to friends.

Please read^
I still don't see why other people are getting this problem and I don't. I've used 1.1, 1.2, with RF-mod, without RF-mod, Hering's mod, and I always get the same result, what the notes look like in the screen shot.
As for the keys, no, I want to get this one problem with them fixed where when the notes start to pop up they turn black, kind of like Evil Ken's problem with the Rock Band notes.

I actually have a feeling it has something to do with blender, so I will try using a variety of different programs and see if those work.
Oh, just a little opinion thrown in by the audience, which do you prefer, v1 of the notes, or v2.
