I'm looking at using my Guitar Hero controller, but not sure which USB converter to buy or how the controller works with FoF/what support is available for it.

Anyone have a recommendation on converter?

And what exactly "works" :p Wammy bar? the start/select/strum bar?

Thanks in advance,

Pretty much any ps2/USB converter will work, and FoF will recognize all the buttons (including select/start) and the strum bar. FoF currently has no support for the whammy (but I do think the computer will recognize it). IMHO, the GH Controller is INFINITELY better than a keyboard.

Sorry, no. I don't have either. However, I don't see why they WOULDN'T work. I've used a wireless regular PS2 controller with my USB adapter before and it worked fine.

To answer my own question,

I just went to Gamestop, got the new official wireless red octane controller for $60, then went to Radioshack and bought a PS2/USB converter for $10, works great.

It's a radio shack brand. Sorry I didn't see this earlier.
