Fail, no.
The only reason I left FoF forum for a while is because I can't play FoF on Vista even with RF-mod and because I got a DS. So, if GH for DS comes out, it'll be worthwhile to look at it and maybe even make FoF. You'll need the guitar controller for DS, tho.
Here's the best proposition for FoF on DS:
The game will be built like any emulator for DS, black menu, directories, etc. The game will look for a specific config file of a song that tells the game where's notes, song and guitar tracks.
I saw a program to make DS games, but it needs to be written in C++. I heard some guys here want to make it on C++ so I think, why the hell not?

instant fail
Whatakevin, shut the **** up. Every single non-constructive comment you make just makes me hate you more and more.
Also, FoF for DS would be bad ass. In theory, it should be possible but I'm not sure exactly how well it will work. The DS isn't all that strong. It can barely run Quake efficiently as the DS only has about 4 mb of ram (this is without a ram expansion btw) and Quake requires 10 as a minimum. Only way I can see this working out is if the GH controller has a ram expansion in it as, as far as I read, the controller connects to slot-2.
I can't wait until GH DS comes out. It sounds fun as hell.

Want a challenge?
FoF on PSP via PSP homebrew. I DARE you coders to try it.
Problem is the control scheme but I think DJ Max Portable had a five button control system...
Thing is I don't think you can python code a PSP....
But seriously, come to the PSP homebrew scene. We have cookies. And easier install methods for your files.
