That sounds good. I extracted the archive titled "library" from the MFH-Alarian mod for Windows and I think I found the file you'll need. It's called Drum.py . I'm no coder, but I assume the .py means it's written in Python. Here it is (I uploaded it to MediaFire): http://www.mediafire.com/?nsmzmyffidx

EDIT: I accidentally made drum plural. Fixed.
EDIT2: So I opened up the file and searched for strum. I got this:

Code: Select all

   #myfingershurt:
    #self.hopoStyle        = self.engine.config.get("game", "hopo_style")
    self.hopoStyle = 0
    self.LastStrumWasChord = False
    self.spRefillMode = self.engine.config.get("game","sp_notes_while_active")
    self.hitglow_color = self.engine.config.get("video", "hitglow_color") #this should be global, not retrieved every fret render.

Probably not it but who knows? ???

I actually play left handed cause my right arm has no hand, it cuts off at my elbow, but I can still play, with my "little arm." I just can't pick at TTFAF or RTTH Damage Inc. (puppetz) speeds. But I can still five star every song in one try. I might be "dumb," but not incompetent.

Guy 1: You heard me. All your face are belong to us.
Guy 2: I think it's base. All your base are belong to us.
Guy 1: Oh yeah? Ya think so, do ya?
Guy 2: ...yes.
Guy 1: *rips guy 1's face off.* Now what do you have to say for yourself?

Can't you take a look at the drum code and convert it to guitar?

There's still one problem, long repeating notes. I'm talking about those long streaks of green notes where you have to strum A LOT. Chords might be a problem too but that's solved in the drum code I guess.

You mean like tremolo picked notes right? For this I think someone(not me because I dunno how to code :P) should make a code where if you tap a note, release the note, then tap and hold the note really fast(like a trill) it will tremolo pick that note until you release it.

There might be some loose ends with that idea(like when you have to pull off to another note and then back to tremolo picking), but something like it would be nice. Even though you probably couldn't FC with that system it would probably be better then nothing.

T3HM3T4L:I've tried to sign up for Rock Band but they just won't allow me. They keep complaining I have to 'be over 18' while I've already been 18 for over half a year, and a sign up where I noted I was born in the '50s STILL GAVE ME THAT MESSAGE

So if anyone could help me get these templates, I'd very much appreciate it. I need it to edit notes and stuff for my Rock Band 2.

aander91:Sorry, but that'd be providing for minors, which is illegal.

T3HM3T4L:But I'm 18 years old... ?

aander91:Nope. Sorry.

T3HM3T4L:Nono, you're getting me wrong, I was asking how come I am still considered a minor?

aander91:Look, we can't just go out giving these things away to people who just say they're over 18 and show no proof, we'd be out of a job.

T3HM3T4L:Nevermind, I'll use EoF for it, I found the way I could use it for that.

Couldn't you connect a keyboard, sit it on the floor.. assign space to the pick and use your foot on space-bar to strum?
It wouldn't work great for VERY fast picking... but would suffice for the majority of songs.
There would be nothing stopping you from connecting 2 keyboards and using both feet too.
My custom songs can now be found in the one place:-Homerrulz Song Thread
