REAL pull-offs? - Another one of my thoughts

What would you like to see added or fixed in FOF?

In real guitar, the pull-offs are done by holding down multiple frets on the same string, then pulling off the higher one. Why can't this be worked in to FoF? In the game now, they're just reverse hammer-ons, and I was thinking you should be able to do something like this:

g----g----g----

y----y----

o----

Without strumming again. Thoughts?

To be fair, you CAN do an authentic pull-off. It's just preferable not to, that's all.

It was made like that like on GH but most people find it easier and faster just to hammer on.

It's way too hard, but you can do it if you want without a mod.

Hammer/Pull-offs with fof aren't like a guitar,
it's just a history of vocabulary...a long story :)
please consider the environment, do you really need to kill your planet ?

Well... listen here.

Real Guitar != FoF "Guitar".

It's a cool idea, but I personally don't think it'll happen unless we get a good modder here to do it...

Yeah, as stated, thats how it worked in the Guitar Hero 1. It wasn't fun to all those lamers out there so they changed it and made it much easier in Guitar Hero 2.

You can do both GH1 and Gh2 style with FoF.

I'll have to object here...

I played on GH1 a lot before GH2 came out -- The only difference between GH1 and GH2 hopos are that the GH1 hopos had a MUCH tighter window... You could do reverse-hammerons to do pull-offs as well.

It has been stated by one of the GH2 developers on ScoreHero that the game was written such that reverse hammer-ons wouldn't work. He explained that a potential reason why reverse hammer-ons work in some cases is that some players press the frets faster than the controller tells the game which frets are being held.

My songs. All made in EOF, beat-synced and note-synced, not very many missed notes.

It was something that bothered him, meaning he didn't do pull-offs right.
