Right now, successfully strummed notes go gray and continue down off the screen. This makes it difficult to tell if you hit it well or not.

Why not make them disappear if you hit them, and continue down if you miss them, like in GH2? It would make it much easier to tell.

good idea, but how easy would that be to implement? would it just become invisible or something? or would it involve removal of the note model?

I don't know any Python, so I couldn't tell you what it would involve, but it couldn't be THAT hard.

The only difficulty I could see is in the long notes, making the bar disappear when it needs to.

I tell I hit a note by the glow effect, and I have no problem telling whether I hit it.

I tell by my ears if the guitar stops playing(GH tracks) Or the music gets quieter/stops(Custom made) you didn't hit it. Also their the mess up noises but it the long barrages of notes theirs the whole fact that.... i don't play them at all so bleh...

I'm not a programming guru, but I think all someone would have to do is turn the opacity down on the model.

In RFMod 2, it has the spinning flashy thing wwhen you hit a not. Plus even without it, the song gets quieter or the guitar goes away(GH). Or you can look at your score(in slow songs). The line on the notes glows too. I don't have much of a problem seeing if I hit a note, based on that.
Still not a bad idea, one more indicator cant hurt:)

I though the game had this feature already :). Well, anyway, I'm quite certain it's going to be in the next version.
