Assign the whammy bar to the kill swtich. This idea has been suggested 100 times. Python cannot bend the pitch of music.

Don't say "Python can't do [insert task here]." Python can do anything with the right modules - said modules may just not have been written yet.

The game don't need to change pitch in the music like guitar hero.
The fretter can define where the player will use it, and if is correct the player win more points.

Sorry bad english.

This is an idea I've had once or twice and I think should be in GH / RB as well.
Whammying long notes that are whammied in the song itself. So there'd be some extra marker for whammy notes and whammying that long note gets you a few extra points or something.

Maybe you don't have the pitchbend module?

The pitchbend effect sounds horrible on my pc (the distort even carries into other songs and the menu music until I exit out and restart), thus I use the killswitch effect instead. However, I actually would like there to be an option to "no effect" so that when I whammy, it doesn't kill the sound, nor pitchbend... it would just play normally. Of course, I'm sure some will say "Just don't whammy". Yet, I still whammy, because, as the OP stated, I do it by habit.

Just an idea.

I do like death_au's idea about assigned markers for whammy notes to increase score.

Make sure it installed correctly. One of my problems with that was getting all the py modules and they wouldn't install correctly... Mine just works now, not sure why.

Ehh, I can't agree due to the fact that most people chart whammied notes as trills.

I haven't touched a GH related game for 6 months. Woo. My (dead) song thread: Contains horrible things.

I've had that Idea too, but I think it would be better if it was obligatory. Whammy or die!
