Raph, you are awesome.

Or frets going backwards.
Or forced lefty screen.
Or making the notes and keys randomly change colors (for example, you have a cyan key, and following notes: red, orange, pink, red, white on the fret)
Or randomly switching positions of notes, like the first two frets switching to 5th and 3rd.
Or flipping the neck vertically, I mean - notes going from the bottom to the top.

Good idea.

So much good ideas, and so few time to implement. Exams next month, need to learn.

Edit:
Next month? I mean this month, oh boy, 1st already :/

Argh. Nice you remember. On 3rd I escape this place and unluckily I will be on only Fridays and Saturdays. Luckily I will just have less time.

How will you determine who will win then, if you said there will be no failing involved?

off topic: it's nice that school restarted, if you noticed there is a lot less noobs activity lately, too bad this so-called real life also keeps busy some useful members

I don't know hahah, didnt think about it, so maybe failing would be necessary too

Hmm, what other variable do we have besides the failing, how about:

Score!

Maybe % hit

If both or one has five stars, then score; if they both have less, then hit percentage. This way it would be easier for first to compete one 4star player with the 3star player; also a nice way for people that have 99% of hits at most of the songs to compete.

And those who 100% everything to relax...

Although combining this with zombies (zombies munching your fretboard when the song finishes if you lose?) would be cool.

...are determined by score. 100% doesn't mean "perfect score", it just means you hit all the notes. Holding all notes to their end would mean a perfect score, and that's hard to do in most songs.
Goodbye everyone. It's been fun. I spent many many hours here on these boards and playing/contributing to FoF. Today I uninstalled my game and deleted all my files. I just don't have the time or interest anymore. I won't be coming back here anymore. I might show up in the IRC from time to time to chat. I regret nothing.

So long, farewell.

I meant compared to the 99%ers, but I get what you mean. Should've made it clearer.

On Killer Queen you can score 100% with 109k and 100% with 139k.

fact is you can hit all notes but still lose your multiplier, double pick a note it'll cut your streak but since you hit that note, you'll be able to get 100%

Right - if you pick twice for every note you are going to get a lousy score, but 100%.
