Just felt like bumping this with some of my input, and to keep that other thread on this same topic from getting any longer.

If you really want to play videos in the background of FoF, just set the games' window size to something really small, and put that in the corner, then open up WMP and play the music video on mute.

Problem solved.

*LOL

You could also turn your tv on, and sit it behind your monitor. :D

Videos would add to the presentation, but at the expense of gameplay (both in terms of slowdown and distraction) IMHO
My custom songs can now be found in the one place:-Homerrulz Song Thread

OGG files can't be streamed. I think they should switch to MP3 because that is the best file type for streaming audio. But it still makes sense to load it into memory because you don't want the song suddenly stopping mid-game.

OGG files can easily be streamed. However, the underlying library used by FoF (pygame) only supports streaming one music file at a time, so the other ones have to be loaded into memory.

You know what would be the best IMO. A visualizer like milkdrop in the background while playing. FoF is already fun on weed, but with a visualizer going on while playing I think I would lose my mind.
