I Think The Wammy Bar Isn't Difficult To Make,But The Sound.
Honestly I Think The Sound Shouldn't Be That Hard To Do,Guitar Hero And Rock Band Can Do It.
So Why Not FOF? :rolleyes:

Because the sound engine in Pygame cannot modulate the pitch of a track

my god, how awful the whammy could be? just try an xbox guitar and set fofix to pitchbend. you'll be crying sooner than you think. and the killswitch, while not as awful as pitchbend, sucks a lot too... i had to disable the whammy, it was too horrible.

Considering it was a hell of a bump, it was a reasonable conclusion.

@grand_ar:

Unfortunately, the pitchbend module isn't the best at the moment, though hopefully, if development speeds up again, that will be remedied. Sorry I can't offer a better answer.

Pitchbend?

I cannot recall. The feature is there, but just like anything, it could use improvement.

True. I think pypitch.py has a bit better results, but this could use some work to.

thank you, i'm very eager to see it fixed, trust me, its very sad to see me hit the whammy for pure habit XD

Yeah that's another thing I'd like to see improved, it seems like when I whammy it doesn't fill up like it should(in comparison to GH+RB that is). It feels like I have to whammy at a certain rate(instead of freely choosing to whammy slow or fast) in order to suck out the SP from sustains. It also seems like I can't get SP from short sustains just by stabbing the whammy(or even at all because of the length of them) like in GB+RB.

I wonder if there is an issue for this yet(or if it's just me feeling this way).

That use to work but now it doesn't register unless I pump the whammy bar. What version of FoFiX and what controller are you using?
