random menu music - surely im not the first to suggest

when you start the game, the background music doesnt loop that same old tune but a random one from the songs you have in the game

this is how alarian already works, but it doesn't play tracks from your songs folder

Actually, almost everything must be that way, use alarian mod, and if u dont use that mod cause is way too big:sarcasm:, well not actually that big try downloading an older version like 2.7 and just update it to mfh-alarian , doesnt matter, just my little recomendation.
Ah and by the way,if u havent used alarian mod, u r missing the bestmod of fof, it adds killswith(like whammy but instead of altering the sound it ju mute it) star power, solo detection etc...

loading guitar/bass/song/maybedrum tracks some of the songs you may have would take longer to load

I don't have any preview.oggs and I doubt very many people have them either

yes, but that would be for GH tracks, preview.oggs help in that matter, but for custom songs, it wouldn't take much just to render that. And, for the GH tracks, they seem to load smoothly for when you press yellow for a preview.

oh, yeah i saw screens of alarian but i couldnt download it cause my connection isnt stable. ill try downloading the small one and upgrading, thanks for the tip Borjito. and i think it should be possible to load the song fast enough, or there could be a please wait screen
