Someone asked me recently if they can help out, and since its rather easy to do(creating these lyrics) I just thought...instead of PMing them back, I'd just make a topic regarding how I do it.
THIS TUT ASSUMES YOU ALREADY HAVE CHARTED A "PART" FOR YOUR CHART...also i assume you have a understanding how EOF works. If not, I can explain in greater detail if needed.
You will need: Notepad++ & EOF w/ hotfix
1) Install Notepad++ and then download and extract EOF to a folder, you just simply overwrite the EOF files with whats in the hotfix archive to get the latest version.
2) Find your lyrics! You can literally find you're lyrics anywhere, but because I use them for the gh series thread, i use this site(it conveniently has them listed).
http://lyrics.wikia.com/wiki/Lyrics_Wiki
3) Once you find your lyrics, copy & paste them into this "Lyric hyphenator" site.
http://juiciobrennan.com/hyphenator/
"This site will break down the syl-la-bles for eve-ry word that is need to be bro-ken down"..ha! it works just like that.
4) Now you need to copy/paste the results of the "lyric hyphenator" into Notepad++
5) in Notepad++..go to Menu bar > search > replace....or just press "ctrl+H"
You will need to replace every hyphen with a hyphen with a space afterwards
"-" replaced with "- " so all word like "ex-am-ple" will turn into "ex- am- ple". This is needed for the next part.
6) once you have it all to your likings, copy/paste or "import" all that new hyphenated text(w/ a space) into this site
http://stage.elsdoerfer.com/elrcmaker/# > offline local version <
7) Load your audio file, and since you PROBABLY know your lyrics good enough the next part should be the easiest(if up above instructions were hard..jk xD) and it take as long to do as it does to listen to the song. So load your audio drag/drop them into the site, it will play it back to you(you can even slow down the audio if you want a better sync). This is where you press the spacebar according to the lyrics/syllables you imported.
Note: the code in this website is open source, it could use some work(tbh i think the code for the lyric hypenator site is open source too). xD
Rayne? jk
8) once you have all the lyric/syllables plotted out(for the lack of a better word). Export it..with the export button. xD
9) Now, you need EOF AND the hotfix because the hotfix(at least A hotfix, its still a Wip hotfix) got updated to support this eLRC format.
So yeah, open EOF and the chart you wish to add lyrics too. Now.. This is where i was saying that the eLRC site could use some changes, because ATM it exports EVERYTHING into a single line/phrase. Which is a shame, its like it used wordwrap xD. So you need to go over your lyrics and fine tune & "rephrase" your lyric lines in EOF. Once you done that... badabing, badaboom...voilà! Gratz!
Well, good luck! If you need any "breakdowns" I can explain more.

Well there are the replies...on PSO/FB as usual.
haha
Its simple, its quick, its meant for a simple break down/display of lyrics for PS(not rb3). I can do a song in about 30/40mins. The only thing that takes time is fixing the sync & rephrasing of the lines with EOF. THAT is a problem with the exported file from the website, not EOF. Which is why I said and mentioned the open source of the site...even the maker wanted to fix it...he just never'd.
BTW! Happy Birthday Alice!

The website used to make ELRC is unfortunately down
I wish they made the software available to download instead of having it on a website lol. Anyone up to converting the script into an application?
EDIT: It's up.

So much better. Marking lyrics manually would took hours. Thank you, Bluzer.
