I've tried enabling and disabling Note Auto-Adjust. I hit Ctrl+V, and it just pasted at the seek position.

I requested for the "paste-where-cursor-is" with CTRL+V for Feedback controls. It would be nice for CTRL+V to snap to beatline when using Piano Roll, but please do not change ctrl+v for Feedback. I also noticed that CTRL+P does the same thing as ctrl+v (at least, in Feedback mode).

CTRL+P is "old paste", where pasted notes don't honor any grid snapping the original notes had. You'll see the difference if you paste into a part of the chart with different tempos.

narutostarwars123456, regarding the paste issue you're mentioning, could you provide a screen capture or something? I'm still not sure what you mean.

It used to work BEFORE for Piano Roll.

It looks like it's working properly. As I mentioned, the paste now begins pasting notes starting from the seek position itself, not the beat the seek position is in. Make sure you've seeked to a beat marker (ie. Pg Up/Dn) and then try pasting the notes. It doesn't matter what the current input method or grid snap value is, the pasted notes will be based on the positions of the originally copied notes.

Would it be possible to add an option to apply the Starpower selected sections from PART DRUMS to PART REAL_DRUMS_PS? That is, when you place on one, it automatically places it on the other as well?

If I were to implement something like that, it would probably be that the PS drum track automatically just used the normal drum track's solo and star power sections, if they're supposed to match between the two, instead of maintaining separate ones for each track. It would probably also have to be a chart option instead of a user preference. Would that be fine?

yeah, that sounds fine. So what happens if you put a new starpower on PS_REAL_DRUMS? Will it automatically appear in the regular drums track too?

Yeah, the two tracks would share the same solo and star power phrases. They'd probably need to share the drum rolls as well? Is there a reason why any of these phrases would need to be different between the two tracks?

What I mean is it would be a toggle-able option in the project, like "five lane drums". This way, no matter who opens the project and edits it, the chart will work as expected instead of relying on something like user preferences, which could be harder for people to coordinate.

Ever since I have had my PC wiped and copied my backup EOF folder here, EOF now refuses to save my changes in my charts. Whenever I try to save, I get a message "Song folder no longer exists. Recreate folder? (Yes/No)" and when I choose Yes I get an error: "Could not create folder! C:\users\[username]\Documents\EOF\[song name]". When I try to overwrite it using Save As, I get the previous message plus "Ensure that the specified folder name is valid and the Song Folder is configured to a non write-restricted area. (File->Song Folder)". I have triple-checked the permissions of my EOF folder and even tried running as admin to no avail. In short I cannot make any changes to my old charts. However, I can create and save new charts just fine.

Here's my logfile if it helps (all I did here was to open an old chart, add a note and try to save it):

I was going to request for drum rolls to do that too. That'd be awesome. I don't see any reason why you'd need these to be separate either.

There has to be something else weird about it, like some of the files are marked as hidden or read only, or a folder in the path is marked as hidden, or there are weird characters in the file path that can't be supported (maybe extended ASCII or unicode) or there may be a permissions problem. Can you try to move the files to a simple folder like c:\songs to see if you still run into the problem? I didn't see much in the log file to shed light on the problem.

OK, I'll add this to my to do list.

I'd store it in the EOF project file itself. It wouldn't need to be mentioned in the INI file unless a rhythm game needed to know about it for some reason.

That didn't quite work, but I've bypassed the problem by moving the contents of each song folder into a newly created folder. Renaming the old folders doesn't work though.
