Hi,

sorry for my late response, but I went to bed after that yesterday :)
...I'll provide the content of the logfile, I guess this would be easier (I wonder why I hadn't this in mind before...). Sidenote: I have the lefty mode activated, but I dunno if this matters.

Q: I get an error saying GMatrix33 or Cx_Freeze, how do I fix it?

A: If you have a load of songs already and dont want to delete them, then move them out of the folder before you do this.

Delete your current fof,
Delete your fretsonfire.ini, and the fretsonfire text document (Start > Run > %appdata%/fretsonfire/)
Download this (full playable release of 1.2.451 with RF-Mod)- https://www.fretsonfire.org/cgi-bin....id97231
If you dragged your songs folder out, drag it into this.

Rule #6: No asking questions that are on the boards FAQ!
Violation of this rule results in a raise in warning level.

Hey, This is actually my first post here; i dont do much posting.

However, i did notice that people here were asking for a code so you could tilt your wiitar (bad pun, but shorter to type) and activate Star Power. Someone might have put this up already, but i didnt see it, so I'll put it here anyways.

Its Really Easy.

Simply Add:

if (Wiimote1.Pitch > 70)
PageDown = true
elseif (Wiimote1.Guitar.Minus)
PageDown = True
else
PageDown = false
endif

Into your script. This will make Star Power activate by either tilting the Wiitar up, or by pressing the Minus Button (This is assuming that Page Down is the button you use to activate your star power).

Just make sure you remove the previous Star Power-activating script. Also, you can replace PageDown w/ your star power key. And no, you DONT have to type key.whatever; just the key will do ( Such as Q = false will work just fine. Well, it has for all of my many, many Wiimote emulator scripts)

I have the whole code that i use for my Wiitar w/ the Alarion mod. If anyone wants it, I'd be happy to post it up here. But since its rather big, I'm not gonna put it up w/o any requests.

Hope that helps all you people who love to give a good show.

Of a final note, i have no idea why everyone is using Wiimote.Classic to code these things...

GlovePIE has Wiimote.Guitar.whatever in its database... its much cleaner and easier to read that way...

Oh Well

I know it is easier to read that way Zero, but the original script wasn't made that way and it isn't very high on my priority list. I am able to read it the way it is easily and I don't see why other people need to be able to read it.

About the tilt thing...I have already had someone pm me with a solution, but I will try yours out to when I get the time. I have been very busy so I haven't had time to mess with the script in a while. Maybe I will get to it sometime next week. :)

whenever i try to download GlovePie, it takes me to a page with this in a yellow box and nothing else but white:

The bandwidth or page view limit for this site has been exceeded and the page cannot be viewed at this time. Once the site is below the limit, it will once again begin serving as normal.

This has been happening for 3 days on every cpu i could find. Is there another way to use the guitar?

glovepie scripting looks fun and easy! i think i might learn it!!

EDIT:
the basics are easy. its when you get to variables that it gets hard.

I have a wierd and uncommon problem. I can use the buttons on my wiimote to play FoF and do other things, but the buttons on the wiitar wont do anything.

hi all,
i noticed that in the original script you are using wiimote.classic.whatever this will only work if you have the classic controller connected and i have no idea why you would use it to play FoF.

i have a very basic script written that will work if you have the guitar plugged into your wiimote.
i didn't change any of the key bindings in the game so here it is

Code: Select all

if wiimote.HasGuitar // this lights up 2 leds if the guitar is connected otherwise it lights up one.
   wiimote.leds = 3
else
    wiimote.leds = 1
endif

key.F1 = wiimote.Guitar.Fret1
key.F2 = wiimote.Guitar.Fret2
key.F3 = wiimote.Guitar.Fret3
key.F4 = wiimote.guitar.Fret4
key.F5 = wiimote.Guitar.Fret5

key.Escape = wiimote.Guitar.Plus

key.Enter = wiimote.Guitar.StrumUp
key.Enter = wiimote.Guitar.StrumDown

I just installed FoF the other day but i have been scripting for GlovePIE for a while now.
hope this helps someone.

sidenote: i havent yet incorporated the ability to traverse the menu with the guitar. i play on a laptop so my keyboard is right there.

Wow. This was my first script and is horribly outdated. Need to update this.

The reason I am using a classic controller in this script is because prior to the release of Glovepie 0.3 (which was released the day after I finished the original script XD) This was the only way to access the Wii Guitar.
