Hi all,

I'm having the same problem as rednano : The Bluetooth dongle/GlovePIE/Wiimote combo functions very well with a wiimote, even with the guitar plugged, but the guitar frets and buttons won't do anything. I have tried a bunch of different scripts with Wiimote.Classic or Wiimote.Guitar, none worked.

Any idea ?

Edit : Looks like I juste found the solution by myself. I just plugged my Bluetooth dongle on another USB port and unchecked Troolbleshooter>Blutooth Fix under GlovePIE

It seems like no one answered the age old question: What do you do if your wiimote keeps blinking all four LEDs even after it's established a connection, and when you run glovepie, nothing happens. The only solution I've seen is to restart....but I've done that a couple of times, and still the same thing.

I even switched USB ports, but there's no difference (except it connected once even when the wiimote wasn't turned on >_>)

I have an unregistered version of BlueSoleil, should it be registered for this to work? Or should I use a different stack.

no you don't...they are automatically read by your computer and frets on fire.

@samus - Try WidComm.

First of all, you're Wiitar script is great, works perfectly. Anyway, the drum script has a major bug, whenever I move the Wiimote or Nunchuck too fast, it fails; completely. Also, there were these weird A's at the beginning of some of the lines. They look like this: Ã. Removing them made the script work.

hmm...those A things weren't there before. I will see if I can fix it.

I am sorry, but I won't be updating the drum script anytime soon. It was only a little script I made when I didn't have my rock band kit.

It seems like you are doing everything right. My guess is that it is the GHWT guitar's fault.

please, i need help. glovepie detects teh wiimote, but it doesnt detect the guitar. so the wiimote buttons work, but the guitar frets doesn't. i've played with this guitar in my wii, so isn't a guitar's fault. what can i do?

by the way, i use this script. i think it would work, but it doesnt:

/*
// FoFiX GH Wiitar script 2.0
// Version 2.1 by Death_au
// Now supports the GH:WT guitar
// Now initializes the WT guitar only once
*/

//GH4 guitar wakeup code:

if(!var.init)
WiimotePoke(1, 0x4A400F0, 0x55) // Decrypt
wait 100ms
WiimotePoke(1, 0x4A400FB, 0) // Unknown
//wait 100ms
//WiimoteDumpBytes(1, 0x4A400F0, 16) // view type
//wait 100ms
//WiimotePoke(1, 0x4A400F0, 0xAA) // Encrypt again
//wait 100ms
//WiimoteDumpBytes(1, 0x4A40020, 32) // view calibration
wait 100ms
WiimotePoke(1, 0x4A40040, 0)

I've been having problems with my wiimote not wanting to stay on, I push the buttons to get teh lights flashing, and after a while it turns off, it's all connected and everything, but the buttons aren't mapping correctly they don't work in the game, and the up and down thing is not working for the strumming.

I'm trying this in FoFiX 3.1, if thats a prob let me know

you are using glovepie, right?

You have to run the script before going into the game. If that still doesn't work...check your batteries.

yes I am using glovepie and I am running an FoFiX script I found. and my batteries are just fine, they wouldn't have anything to do with it not working in game

It connects to teh PC jsut fine, the lights stay on and stop flashing and everything, but after I run this script it says no expansion error.

I also tried the one here, still didn't work, is there a video somewhere that can help me?

Try restarting your computer. Other than that I can't really help you too much...sorry.
