Re: EOF 1.8RC11 - Now with Rocksmith 2014 support
That's the best way to go, but the user preference in EOF will work fine.
Re: EOF 1.8RC11 - Now with Rocksmith 2014 support
Hey,
there seems to be a problem with the new export time range function. I have tried exporting a time range from a song with a delay at the beginning, and when I open up my exported file it seems to have kept the delay, but the audio starts up right from the beginning, resulting in the first few notes to be missing and a screwed up grid snap. The other notes seem to be in sync though.
Screenshot for better understanding:

I know I can easily get around this by resetting the offset to zero before exporting, but I think this is something that should be fixed. Thanks in advance!
Btw, thank you so much for finally adding hotkeys for adding star power and sections! :D

Re: EOF 1.8RC11 - Now with Rocksmith 2014 support
New hotfix is up. Non pro guitar specific changes are as follows:
Hi, folks. The latest hotfix (4-13-2016) is in the first post. Changes are as follows:
*Added logic to prevent temp files from being written outside EOF's temp folder.
*Fixed some memory leaks caused by the previous commit that would occur during musical MIDI export if the presence of the temp folder and the current location of the working directory couldn't be set.
*Fixed a bug with the "Export time range" function where the exported project didn't correctly have its first beat position (MIDI delay) set to 0.
*Updated to FFTW 3.3.5, which should provide performance improvements with the time stretch and spectrogram features. On my computer, this seemed to result in about a 3.5% improvement in render speed when the spectrogram is being displayed.
*Updated the makefiles to perform link time optimization, which should provide some performance improvements overall. On my computer, this seemed to result in an additional 4.5% improvement in render speed when the spectrogram is being displayed.
*Added additional error checking during MIDI export.
*Fixed a crash that could occur when enabling the secondary piano roll.

New hotfix is up. Non pro guitar specific changes are as follows:
*Fixed a bug with the previous commit that would cause the spectogram and waveform to be destroyed when performing undo or redo.
*Improved Sonic Visualizer import to ignore labeling data that do not define tempos, where previously the tempo would end earlier than it should.
*Fixed a Feedback import bug that could allow drum notes to be given forced HOPO status.

Here's a bug: the waveform graph disappears whenever I undo.

Re: EOF 1.8RC11 - Now with Rocksmith 2014 support
That was already fixed (see previous hotfix notes). You can update to the latest EOF by unzipping the newest hotfix on top of EOF 1.8RC11.
New hotfix is up. Non pro guitar specific changes are as follows:
New hotfix is up. Non pro guitar specific changes are as follows:
*Changed GHWT export so that forced strum notes export with a marker 9 lanes higher than lane 1 to reflect user testing.
*Fixed a Feedback import bug that could cause the drums and double drums tracks to be combined into one resulting drum track during import. Now the double drums track will be imported to the Phase Shift drum track if it is defined.

New hotfix is up. Non pro guitar specific changes are as follows:
*Corrected the "Deselect toms" function to apply to drum notes that contain both toms and cymbals.
*Re-organized many of the selection/deselection functions to be in their own submenus. Many of those that could only either select or deselect can now do both.
*Added functions to select/deselect notes of a specific length.
*Added function to select/deselect notes depending on whether or not they are grid snapped.

New hotfix is up. Non pro guitar specific changes are as follows:
*Various fixes for the "Open strum" feature of 5 lane guitar/bass tracks.
*Fixed a bug where enabling the display of grid lines while a custom per-measure grid snap was defined could cause EOF to hang.
*Fixed a bug where the seek to next anchor function wouldn't work in some scenarios.

Re: EOF 1.8RC11 - Now with Rocksmith 2014 support
New hotfix is up. This release improves GP import so that if the selected track is a percussion track, EOF offers to import it into one or both drum tracks.
Re: EOF 1.8RC11 - Now with Rocksmith 2014 support
I have an issue: I can only place sections on beat markers, but in order to make the star power last a while, I have to halve my BPM sometimes, getting rid of crucial beat markers to put sections on, and sometimes forcing me to add an unnecessary offset, or inject little higher BPM beats before beats with the actual BPM; both of which creates their own sets of problems. Is there any way around this?
Also, the first marker is always the smaller one, yet the larger beat markers seem to designate the most important beats. Is there any reason for this, or am I missing something?
