Re: EOF 1.8b3 - Pro guitar export now available
Custom grid snap doesn't seem quite right at this time, but depending on whether you're trying to chart 1/64 beat or 1/64 measure, you may be able to do it with the built-in grid snap values. 1/64 beat notes at a tempo of 200BPM is not going to be playable at all though, so it won't be worth the effort of charting it. You might also try opening a blank chart, setting a low tempo (ie. 50BPM), placing the grid snapped notes and then just copy+paste them into the chart you're working on. You won't be able to reliably use the mouse to add notes that are extremely close to each other.

Re: EOF 1.8b3 - Pro guitar export now available
I'd tell you the song but it's part of a secret project me and like 8 opther members of the forum are working on. Can't say much more than that. I will say taht it's by Iron Maiden tho. And studio song, not a live solo or anything. That's it.
I zoomed way it and still had difficulties. I'm going to play with it somemore and see what happens.

This has just been fixed. The problem was caused by the auto-adjust logic malfunctioning when altering a note that reached or surpassed the end position of the chart (usually only possible during MIDI import).
And on that note, it's about time for a new beta release. Not a whole lot of changes in this release, but it does fix the following glitches:
*Corrects handling of non #/8 time signatures for MIDI import/export
*Corrects Feedback import for charts that have a time signature change after the last tempo change
*Fixes a crash that would occur when moving an anchor that cuased auto-adjust logic to manipulate a note that reached or exceeded the end of the chart

Should be. After testing with that Metallica chart, I was able to get 3/8, 4/8, 5/8 and 7/8 (all of which were within a few seconds of each other, crazy chart) to work, so 12/8 should work as well.

Re: EOF 1.8b4 - Pro guitar export now available
EOF already writes HOPO notes that way (one MIDI note higher than lane 5).

well my theory is that, GHTCP reads midi files and chart files differently, and i know for sure that you cant add a midi and expect the gameplay to have forced hopos, but the only times that people release forced hopos for GH3 are in chart files, maybe all you need is a feature to export as a chart file?
