Re: EOF 1.8RC12 - Now with Rocksmith 2014 support
Please provide the project file and cite the timestamps of some of the affected drum notes. Then I can verify whether it's a problem with EOF or not.

Re: EOF 1.8RC12 - Now with Rocksmith 2014 support
New hotfix is up. Changes are as follows:
*Updated Queen Bee imports to warn that GH instrument notes can't be imported when a pro guitar or vocal track is active.
*Improved the vocal track rendering so that the piano keyboard on the left edge of the piano roll will better scale up in height when a custom EOF program window size is defined.
*Fixed some bugs in the spectrogram and waveform generation logic that could cause a crash/hang.
*Added logic to enforce a gap of at least 2ms between each lyric line, since timing conversions can cause enough precision loss to cause them to bleed into each other during MIDI export.
*Fixed a memory leak that could occur in leading silence (re-encode option) when the chart audio is too long for EOF to be able to allocate enough memory to store the decoded audio.
*Moved "Song>Create preview audio" to "File>Export>Preview audio".
*Moved "Song>Lock tempo map" to "Beat>Lock tempo map".
*Removed the GHWT sustain threshold prompt during GH import, since it was determined that was not really in effect for official charts.
*Fixed a bug with the recent undo/redo state error detection where the handling of key signature changes during MIDI import could cause a false error that an undo state wasn't made.
*Added a "RS import loads all handshapes" import preference that will force all handshape phrases to import instead of only those in a few specific customs-related circumstances.
*Changed GH imports so that sustained drum notes only have to exceed the same sustain threshold optionally used for guitar/bass in order to be marked as a drum roll.
*Fixed a bug with the chord snapping logic ran at the end of MIDI import where only notes in PART GUITAR would get resnapped/highlighted appropriately.
*Updated GH imports to display a notice if sustained bass drum notes are imported and to highlight said notes, as these may require some alteration in order to behave well in Clone Hero or Strikeline.
*Changed GH imports to allow drum rolls to import from any difficulty.
*Updated the Clone Hero notes panel to reflect the game's new drum support and undefined track difficulty levels.
*Changed MIDI import of GH charts so that the "TRIGGERS" drum animation track imports into the normal drum track and the "BAND DRUMS" drum animation track imports into the PS drum track, instead of both importing into the same track and potentially resulting in unexpected conditions.
*Added a prompt during the import of a Power Gig MIDI to offer to mark all non forced HOPO notes as forced strums.
*Added "Note>Drum>Accent>Clear>All" and "Note>Drum>Ghost>Clear>All" functions.
*Improved the reliability of using CTRL+click to deselect notes/lyrics.
*Fixed a bug where "Beat>Add" could still be invoked with CTRL+Ins even when there are no anchors after the selected beat, and would cause a crash.
*Fixed a bug where clicking and dragging the first beat while moving the mouse in and out of the piano roll area would corrupt the tempo map.
*Fixed a bug with the CTRL+click and drag beat logic where the first beat would be allowed to be moved past the second beat and corrupt the tempo map.
*Changed editor logic so that CTRL+Z only performs undo once the Z key is released, ensuring multiple undos can only be performed by intentionally pressing the Z key multiple times.
*Added a "Don't redraw on exit prompt" preference to prevent the program window from being removed and recreated when EOF prompts to exit.
*Improved "Edit>Paste from>Catalog" to start the paste from the seek position instead of applying the original position within its beat that each note in the catalog entry had.
*Changed GP import to process transition effects for on the beat grace notes instead of just ignoring them.
*Added a tuning definition for Open D.
*Improved the vocal editor to allow CTRL+SHIFT+scroll or CTRL+SHIFT+[] to adjust selected lyrics' lengths by 1ms if grid snap is disabled.
*Added a "Track>Chord snap" function to allow a threshold to be provided to manually resnap gems that are separated by up to a specified number of delta ticks (only immediately after an import) or milliseconds into chords.

Re: EOF 1.8RC12 - Now with Rocksmith 2014 support
New hotfix is up. Changes are as follows:
*Updated array.txt import to support explicit HOPO markers instead of threshold based HOPO by making "HOPO" the first line of the array.txt file, and by putting the letter H in front of the relevant notes' gem lane encoding.
*Improved LRC import to ignore a defect commonly found in lyric files provided by Deezer where a past timestamp is repeated and accompanied with an empty line of lyrics.
*Fixed a bug with the audio preview function where existing start and end timing tags aren't correctly replaced when the timings are redefined.
*Improves "Queen Bee (multi)" import to look for any of 19 folder names (ie. "beatlines", "sections", "timesig", "bass_Expert", "lead_Expert", etc) at the same folder level as selected file's parent folder, offering a "GHOT import" automating the mass import of a chart's contents.
*Improved the File menu handling to disable the "Export guitar pro" function if none of the pro guitar/bass tracks have notes in them.
*Fixed a crash that would occur when changing to a pro guitar track difficulty with over 32,768 gems (would likely have to be a full album chart).
*Fixed a bug where using "Track>Erase track" or "Track>Clone" functions did not remove existing track-specific text events.
*Changed GH import so that star power and slider phrases aren't shortened if they end in the middle of a note.
*Fixed a bug with MIDI import where if solo phrases are converted to star power phrases (an old Frets on Fire behavior, if there are fewer than two star power phrases), there is some data corruption that could cause undefined behavior until the project was saved and reloaded.
*Improved the reliability of the "Import dialogs recall last path" import preference.
*Clarification to RS export warnings that the "COUNT" phrase should be defined in all uppercase letters and the "noguitar" phrase should be defined in all lowercase letters.
*Updated the warning during save about lyrics existing outside of defined lyric lines to offer to highlight the offending lyrics and cancel the save.

Needed to redownload the latest hotfix.
New PC, haven't transferred every file from old because of irrelevant reasons.
One problem.
404 NOT FOUND WHEN CLICKING THE HOT FIX LINK.
I'll be asking for the hotfix in the Clone Hero discord in the meantime because, reasons.

Re: EOF 1.8RC12 - Now with Rocksmith 2014 support
New hotfix is up. Changes are as follows:
*Improved new chart wizard so that OGG metadata can be imported when the OGG comment field names aren't in all capital letters.
*Fixed the 3D rendering non-SP, non-barre, GHL black/white slider gems to work with custom resources.
*Increased the number of events that can be handled during Rocksmith import from 200 to 300.
*Improved Sonic Visualizer import to support timings that define only a timestamp and no tempo.
*Fixed a bug with the previous hotfix where RS phrases, sections and events that were imported were deleted at the end of import.
*Adds a MIDI export addition from RoscoeSmith to export Clone Hero enhanced open notes for tracks that have a "[ENHANCED_OPENS]" text event.
*Adds an experimental "Beat>Export beat timings" that will create a timings.txt file defining beat positions as either milliseconds or 1/# intervals of a second, for cases where this may be useful in another application.
*Corrected the behavior of the "Click to change dialog focus" preference.
*Improved paste so that arpeggio/handshape phrases that are created will reflect the copied phrases' lengths.

Re: EOF 1.8RC12 - Now with Rocksmith 2014 support
New hotfix is up. Changes are as follows:
*Adds Rocksmith changes from iminashi's fork of EOF:
Fix crowd speed events
Add better chordshapes.xml
Fix import of accent and ignore chord statuses
Fix handshape export for chords followed by a split chord
Export the first beat's position as the arrangement's offset
Allow repeated chords with different ghosted notes to export within the same handshape phrase
*Improved the MP3 ID3 tag import capability in the new chart wizard so that extended ASCII characters can be handled in both the MP3 filename and in artist, song title and album title metadata.

Re: EOF 1.8RC12 - Now with Rocksmith 2014 support
New hotfix is up. Changes are as follows:
*Added the ability to author drum charts for the VR game "Drums Rock". To enable this for a drum track, use "Track>Drums Rock>Enable Drums Rock". The 3D preview will reflect the game's 6 lane drum layout (orange = high tom, blue = crash cymbal, yellow = snare, red = kick drum, green = ride cymbal, purple = low tom). Drums Rock supports four difficulty levels (easy, medium, hard, extreme), each of which is defined as its own folder with audio and CSV files. EOF will export the four standard difficulty levels of only one of the project's drum tracks to Drums Rock format during save ("PART DRUMS" if it has Drums Rock mode enabled, otherwise "PART REAL_DRUMS_PS" if it has Drums Rock mode enabled). The only special technique that the game supports is drum rolls (marked with either "Note>Drum roll" or "Note>Special drum roll", they will behave the same for Drums Rock export). With Drums Rock, the chart specifies how many times the drum must be hit within the drum roll, which is defined in EOF by naming each note in the drum roll with the number of times it should be hit. If this number isn't defined appropriately, it will export as 3 by default. Otherwise the defined drum roll count is displayed as note names which are located: To the left of the note in the 3D preview and optionally above the note if you enable the "Top of 2D pane shows names" option in File>Preferences>Preferences. Drums Rock expects charts to have a preview.ogg file, so EOF will nag you to define preview audio if it doesn't exist when you export Drums Rock files. By default, EOF will author Drums Rock charts in that game's lane order (ie. lane 1 will be high tom instead of bass drum) so five lane drums is automatically enabled when you enable Drums Rock mode. Drums Rock uses hand held controllers only, so only two gems are allowed to be played at any time. For this reason, EOF will complain during save if any drum notes being exported to Drums Rock format have more than two gems and will automatically reduce them to two gems. If a drum note would be forcibly reduced this way, the piano roll will render a maroon colored background behind affected notes, and the 3D preview will automatically show the note in the way it is to be reduced (the bass drum and snare drum gems have highest priority for being kept).

Re: EOF 1.8RC12 - Now with Rocksmith 2014 support
New hotfix is up. Changes are as follows:
*Re-assigned the SHIFT+E shortcut to the "Place RS Event" function.
*Re-assigned the F7 shortcut to the Rocksmith import function.
*Updated Drums Rock logic to reflect that chords in drum rolls are not supported.
*Added GP import logic to convert slide in from above/below notes into pitched slides that link to a note 1/16 beat after them, similar to the handling in Knaifhogg's EOF fork.
*Corrected the values of notes in Drums Rock export.

Re: EOF 1.8RC12 - Now with Rocksmith 2014 support
New hotfix is up. Changes are as follows:
*Corrected Drums Rock export to correctly save each difficulty's notes into its correct CSV.
*Corrected "Save as" logic to write Drums Rock folders to the selected destination folder instead of the already existing project path.
*Added logic to recreate tech notes when copying and pasting pro guitar notes into normal view (not tech view), only when copying and pasting within the same EOF instance. Pasted tech notes will have their original positions within the copied normal notes, rounded to nearest millisecond. The clipboard format has changed, so make sure to copy at least once before pasting again or the paste will malfunction.

Re: EOF 1.8RC12 - Now with Rocksmith 2014 support
New hotfix is up. Changes are as follows:
*Added a "Track>Drums Rock>Drums Rock remap notes" function that will automatically convert notes from a typical Rock Band pro drums style authoring to Drums Rock style authoring. By default this is: Rock Band's bass drum to Drums Rock's lane 4 kick drum, RB lane 1 (typically snare) to DR lane 3 snare, RB lane 2 tom to DR lane 1 tom, RB lane 3 tom to DR lane 1 tom, RB lane 4 tom to DR lane 6 tom, RB lane 2 cymbal (typically hi-hat) to DR lane 5 ride cymbal, RB lane 3 cymbal to DR lane 5 ride cymbal, RB lane 4 cymbal (typically crash) to DR lane 2 crash cymbal. In case you want to change how these are converted, you can close EOF and manually edit the eof.cfg text file in EOF's program folder to edit the lane numbers of the drums_rock_remap_lane... variables to reflect what the in-editor lane tom or cymbal will convert to for Drums Rock. When Drums Rock remapping is enabled, all notes in the piano roll will render with a maroon background to reflect that the note is going to be converted during export, and the 3D preview will reflect what it will display as in Drums Rock. Keep in mind that before Rock Band 3, drum charts did not include cymbals and were authored the same as tom notes. For example, hi hat was commonly authored as a lane 2 (ie. yellow) tom. This older style of drum charting won't convert to Drums Rock as nicely unless you make corrections to apply cymbal notation as appropriate.

Re: EOF 1.8RC12 - Now with Rocksmith 2014 support
New hotfix is up. Changes are as follows:
*Moved "Note>Simplify chords" into a "Note>Simplify" menu.
*Added a "Note>Simplify>Chords (low)" function that behaves like "Simplify chords", except the lowest lane gem (instead of highest lane) is removed from each selected note.
*Added a "Note>Simplify>Cymbals" function that removes cymbal gems from each selected drum note.
*Added a "Note>Simplify>Toms" function that removes tom gems (lane 3, 4 or 5 gems that are not marked as cymbals) from each selected drum note.
*Added a "Note>Simplify>Expert+ bass drum" function that removes Expert+ bass drum gems from each selected expert difficulty drum note.
*Added a "Note>Simplify>Bass drum" function that removes bass drum gems from each selected drum note.
***Corrected the colors shown in the Note>Toggle, Note>Clear and "Edit>Clap notes" menus when Drums Rock mode is enabled.
***Fixed a bug with the GP import change in commit 4652625 that would apply the new logic to unpitched slide out notes instead of just slide in from above/below notes as intended.

Re: EOF 1.8RC12 - Now with Rocksmith 2014 support
New hotfix is up. Changes are as follows:
*Added a "Note>Simplify>String mutes" function that removes string muted gems from each selected pro guitar note.
*Added a "Note>Simplify>Ghost" function that removes ghost gems from each selected pro guitar note.
***Improved the "Note>Resnap>Resnap auto" function to honor the "Prefer MIDI friendly grid snaps" preference so that strange grid snap settings won't prevent notes from resnapping to a better grid position.
***Corrected the 3D preview of drum roll markers when the "Drums Rock remap notes" option is enabled.
***Corrected the GP import logic for slide in from above/below notes (again) to not break the import of unpitched slide out status.
***Added logic so that notes marked with "crazy" status (a status used for various purposes in EOF) with the Note>Crazy function will not be altered by the "Drums Rock remap notes" feature. This way you can manually define how individual notes will export to Drums Rock format while letting all other notes be remapped.
***Updated Drums Rock export to copy album.jpg to each difficulty folder if it exists in the project folder.
***Updated Drums Rock export to write a Metadata.cfg file for each exported difficulty of the chart. This file is used to upload a custom track to Drums Rock's Steam workshop and contains the difficulty level and various details from Song>Properties. The description metadata is the chart author and loading text song property fields. The tags metadata is the difficulty level and genre song property.
*Added logic to transpose applicable tech notes when transposing normal notes with Note>Transpose>Up/Down (ie. up/down arrow key).

Re: EOF 1.8RC12 - Now with Rocksmith 2014 support
New hotfix is up. Changes are as follows:
***Added logic so that a drum roll hit count can be defined as 0 to suppress the drum roll status for the note during Drums Rock export. This may be desired because EOF enforces Rock Band rules where a drum roll in effect for one difficulty is in effect for all difficulties, you could allow a drum roll in higher difficulties and set the hit count to 0 in lower difficulties to manually force it to display as a normal note instead of a drum roll. When a drum roll note is defined this way, it will be denoted with "!DR" notation below the note in the piano roll.
**Added logic so that the delete and "delete w/ lower diffs" functions will delete applicable tech notes when normal notes are deleted. This will also apply to notes that are deleted due to having all gems toggled off or cleared.
**Added logic so that when notes are deleted during paste due to the "paste erases overlap" preference, applicable tech notes are also deleted.
***Corrected the "delete w/ lower difficulties" function to update the difficulty populated statuses.
*Improved Guitar Pro import to check for and remove conflicting techniques such as if a note is defined to have both hammer on and tap techniques at the same time. Tap takes priority over hammer on and pull off, hammer on takes priority over pull off, string mute takes priority over palm mute, slap takes priority over pop.
*Updated piano roll rendering to display each bookmark's number.
***Corrected the logic that recreates handshape tags during paste.

Re: EOF 1.8RC12 - Now with Rocksmith 2014 support
New hotfix is up. Changes are as follows:
*Improved Guitar Pro import to apply the default charter name in song properties.
***Improved the writing of Metadata.cfg during Drums Rock export to not write blank fields separated by commas in the description and tags lines. For now it's assumed that the description must be defined even if it is blank.
*Improved Drums Rock export to filter out unsupported filename characters when creating the export folders named with song metadata.
*Updated Drums Rock export to not include any commas in the song or artist names to info.csv if they are present, as this prevents the chart from working in-game.
*Added a "File>Import>Drums Rock" function that can be used if the current track is a drum track. Since note timing in this format is in centiseconds instead of milliseconds, EOF will offer to repair the imported notes' grid snap if you import into a project that has at least two defined tempos.
*Added a "Song>Rocksmith>Fingering view" toggle option that changes the piano roll to display fingering values instead of fret values. The background for the finger number text will be light blue instead of white to make it more noticeable when this view is in effect. The F8 keyboard shrotcut was re-assigned from lyric import to this function.
