ok, also, after you import the midi into 1.7, then import the eof file into 1.8 it wont export the pro chart, or at least Phase shift doesn't see it.

you got it wrong, ok here si exactly what i did

1) open it in 1.7
2) save as "notes.eof"
3) load that notes.eof in to eof 1.8
4) save as notes.eof

but when i save it from eof it dosent seem to save the pro track, or isnt saving it right somehow

i'm assuming that because it's originally a pre-pro release, it won't save the pro guitar due to compatability issues??

well, this is my "i feel smart" moment of the day... lol

i think i may try doing one of these, pro mode dealies sometime... i'm assuming you chart from actual music, so if i can sync, i'll be spot on with the whole chart... (i can sync)

im still confused, i didnt overwrite any prochart, when I added the midi to 1.7, no pro-chart existed in it, i added the pro chart in 1.8 after i put it through 1.7, i dont see how that can screw this up entirely as i can take older charts of mine that were made in eof 1.7 and add pro charts to them in 1.8

thats the issue I've been reporting from the beginning, it either doesn't save the pro chart right or at all, I don't know which it is, all I know is PS doesn't see the pro chart, only the classic
