Re: EOF 1.8b2 - Pro guitar export now available
Are custom time signatures meant to be supported? Because I can only get X/4 signatures to work. Whatever number I put as the denominator, EOF reads it as 4.

I can't replicate that. When you say "reads it", do you mean when you perform a MIDI import on the chart after you save it? If that's the case, then have you enabled time signature import and export from File>Preferences?

By "reads it" I mean "interprets", when I change the setting in Beat->TS->Custom. See example below:

That is not 3/8, but a 3/4 signature.

Custom per measure grid snap values are currently broken. With any luck we'll be able to fix it soon.

Thanks. It would really help with some of the tech metal I've been charting for my personal use. Time signatures like 3/16 often mess with note positions for later measures.

Re: EOF 1.8b2 - Pro guitar export now available
I've been trying and cant find a way to reproduce it, I have absolutely no idea what caused it, it dosent help how much later after I placed the note I found out about it so I dont remember what i did prior to placing that note. probably best to leave this be until I can find out how to reproduce that..
Re: EOF 1.8b2 - Pro guitar export now available
Although this project does contain a lot more features than dB, I'll continue to use dB based on the UI.
Anyways, EOF is coming along rather nicely. Keep up the nice work.

Exporting Pro Drums doesn't work correctly. D:
Not all of the cymbals become cymbals.
I think it has something to do with BRE's/fills.

Re: EOF 1.8b2 - Pro guitar export now available
Could you make a short example chart demonstrating that, or otherwise provide an example chart? Is it just that they don't appear as cymbals in Phase Shift, or do they not get treated as cymbals if you import the MIDI back into EOF?
Re: EOF 1.8b2 - Pro guitar export now available
I first found this out when I saw it in Phase Shift, then I went back and imported the MIDI and some of the cymbals were not cymbals.
I was going to give this as your test chart, but then found out that the MIDI does not import correctly:

But I will upload another example.

This has now been fixed. Basically, drum notes included within or at the adjacent 1ms or so of a BRE phrase were being marked as tom drums. Now, no pro drum notation is generated for BRE phrases, so it shouldn't cause any more of such glitches.
Re: EOF 1.8b2 - Pro guitar export now available
I had this problem as well, I'm glad to see it's fixed, I can't wait until the program is officially updated (I don't feel like taking the time to build it myself).
