As I was playing my way into more difficult songs on higher difficulty levels, I notice that a lot of my note hits were slightly late to late.
Since I had adjusted my buffer size to 4096, I figured that the A/V delay needed tweaking.
I now keep the delay around 200 +/- 25ms, but one thing troubles me.
My setting is based on my own old-man-slow reaction time.
That doesn't make my setting right, it just improves my score.
Why doesn't FoFiX have some sort of automated way of adjusting this? Something like Jurgen playing a song and keeping a log of how far off his hits are, etc?
It'd be a nice feature since it's actually pretty subjective when tweaking it.
It would also be more reasonable if the delay setting moved in increments of 25 or 50. Isn't .001 second tweaking pretty silly if you have no way to actually prove your accuracy?
Thoughts? Suggestions?

really, jurgen could be influenced by game lag, which could make the calibration a bit rougher, but I would like to see that calibration suggestion, at least it has an explanation, that others suggesting this don't
